  1. I wonder If we will hear these calls within 5 decades “for the 1st time, the island of Puerto Rico has a green jacket!” “We have a new all time major champion!”

  2. Tom Weiskoff is literally in the last group every year at the beginning. Never won, though. I counted 4 times and in 1975 he was in the last group behind Nicklaus

  3. 2019. Will never forget that moment, sitting in my family room with my wife and son, a blanket of fresh snow outside in the Chicago suburbs. The moment only grows more special as time passes.

  4. 2019 was the best and will always be the best. It was the greatest moment in the history of the game. The man who changed the game of golf. The man who inspired millions of kids to play golf. Everyone said that he would never win again yet he took down a field of some of the greatest players in the world. That’s Tiger Woods for you.

  5. That call by Vin Scully on Player's birdie on 18 in 1978.. is one of the greatest calls ever (amd Gary's round is one of the greatest ever)

  6. 1997 & 2019. Beginning and end of imo, the best stretch of golf ever played by one man. I would however, love nothing more than to come back to this comment in a few weeks and edit it to say 1997, 2019 & 2024. 🐅 = 🐐
