I was his punching bag for four years and he tried circumcising me with his teeth – Carole | Tuko TV

When Carole Maritim eloped with the man she thought was the love of her life at 21, no one would have told her the same “Tall, Dark and Handsome” man as she calls him, would turn heartless and openly beat her mercilessly in front of her…

  1. Waa so it's 99%of women who have gone through severe violence, I used to think it's only mum and I. God fight for us 🙏🙏🙏. Such stories are a support group. Thank you tuko talks

  2. Also the first blow, slap, punch etc ..will not be the last!! No matter how sincere the fake apology may seem! You can bet your last dollar on that!!

  3. Women are very smart they can pick up vibes can tell exactly what a man is all about But most go for bad boys then end up on tuko TV crying and acting like victims.

  4. Never judge a single mum coz you know not what she's been thru' bfor… Lyn pliz be showing the pictures of those bad men here so that some of us do not fall into trap of being married by them …tuwajue tu…most men are out here looking for wives and vise versa…tusijipate in wrong hands

  5. For all its worth I can never thank Lynn Ngugi and Tuko Talks enough, from my Ugandan viewpoint , for the great exposure and transformation work she does , because these are real daily issues many of us ordinary people go through but have no platform to admit because we self blame (our culture) and so too shy to disclose cause others call you a failure . Lynn has made us realise that these things are not only common but also not ashaming to disclose and even escape from . Its not a prison for us to suffer in silence . Its especially harder for us men to admit but happens to many of us .

  6. I wanted to listen to her story, how and why her husband tried to circumcise her, but I can't understand her language she speaks, I wish she could have continue speaking in English.

  7. Carol's story is the story of many women & I'm happy for her that she was able to leave and avoid the pain & trauma for her and her kids. And she is now doing well for herself. Kudos girl. And may the Lord bless you and your children
