With Google maps, Gmail, Gemini AI, Google Search and the hardware of Samsung this is going to be amazing. What a fantastic combination! Looks more like a Quest Pro than anything Apple created though. I'll be lining up for this one.

Yes completely agree from a generalised perspective, truth be told, i do think itโs way too expensive, but i donโt think this version is for the general public itโs for developers and creators. It defo got me thinking about what kind of content and possibilities there are. Glad to see this collab too for the same reason.

Instead of circle to search they should do a finger frames to search, you can set it to any size, and tap your index and thumb to take the picture, would make it more user friendly ๐

Wow. I'm in the Android Samsung ecosystem I never thought twice about any of these are headsets. I was when the apple one came out I never even thought I wish Samsung would come out with one. I guess because it was Apple I had no interest and it just looked like a ridiculous toy but this has my interest piqued. This looks way more polish than I would have thought. This thing looks like it's damn near ready to go. And for some reason I actually want to see one.
I might actually get one of these. I'm so tired of Meta trying to ram the hot garbage that is Horizon worlds down my throat…

Meh the hardware is a little too close to Apples and I like when companies don't try and copy what Apple is doing because Apple is a lower spectrum, they focus on good looking without any true advancements that aren't already out there at a premium. With Quest 3 Meta has nailed it, Prism is luxury with true advancements but at a cost but you get what you pay for. I really hope the Google/Samsung headset makes some design element changes that include advancements we know they have in their arsenal. I also hope Meta doesn't follow this design language, who TF wants a heavy headset with an external battery in your pocket, dumb af, also no one cares to see your eyes in a headset.
since their goal is to inspire development and to grow this platform, I am hoping they don't charge so much for it. This will definitely replace my tv if it costs less than $1k.

Meta's headset IS Android. You can even adb Android apps to it and run them if you unlock the developer settings.
