  1. Wow. This brings back so many memories of growing up in alone and Accra! As a kid from Chicago it was the most precious 8 years of my entire life! I am so thankful for having the privilege to live amongst these beautiful people! I came into puberty in West Africa smack dab in the middle of the equator! I miss Togolese food. Kolico, Akume and Chichinga! I loved the market with all the Mama Gans! They are the rich women who sold cloth in the market!

  2. I wanted to jump into the video to try the soup and fufu. I could smell the aroma through the screen…lol And I shouted with laughter when you talked about NOT dislocating your shoulder on your wedding day! Too ,Too funny🤣🤣🤣🤣 Another great video as always Jasmine!

  3. This is a 🌶️ scotch bonnet pepper pot! I’m in NY fighting off this summer flu, this food will do me well 😅 I found Christell’s channel today, felt most welcomed when I saw you Ama❤

  4. She’s right, Kenya is a wonderful destination and soon they will be zero visa restrictions for anyone wanting to visit the country so all will be welcome.

  5. Nice video.
These yppo really succeed, they put an imaginary line between area with the same almost the people, anx here we are today thinking our ancestors didn't share the same africans knowledges and do things the same way… idk why Ghanaians think lots of things are done differently in togo especially when it come to food…there should be no "its just like how we donit in togo, benin, ghana etc we should eliminate those lines, we sound like strangers in Africa".
Its fufu u make a tasty sauce and eat it… it got different names depends where u at but its it

  6. Very interesting. I enjoy cooking outside, even in America. The USVI cooking outside is so much fun also . The Caribbean Sea salty smell is wonderful to cook food. In Nigeria what I've experienced is the soups and stews are peppery, yet delicious. I've tasted Ghanaian foods, but they are different ( in my opinion) than Nigeria. My favorite African food is EGUSI. Upon all I've experienced, Nigerian foods, Southern American Foods, and West Indian Caribbean foods are thee best to me. Upon all, foods take ingredients, love, and patience. Thank you for sharing this experience! All praises to the Most High who lives and reigns forever Amen.
