Complains about not getting dropped of in downtown which would mean having to get a taxi to his hotel after but the bus drops him right to his hotel doors..
This man is defo an alpha karen
Single seats. Bravo!
I've watched vidoes of Japanese buses that have seats like first class in airliners, a nice restroom, and some overnighters even had sleeper chairs. I checked into a 28 hour trip on Greyhound, $141 RT, with tight seating, crazy layovers, smelly restrooms. No thanks. America should have more of this.
This looks way better than Greyhound experience!
Not what Netflix in chill means….I hope you weren't doing that on that bus.
Been to Houston more then you as a Minnesotan 😓
Excellent video!
Sounds good. They should add other cities that are in demand.
I got on a greyhound in Dallas and everyone was doing meth on the bus and the driver didn't care
"Scary Greyhound Station." 😆😆😆
Just one thing: It's pronounced Buckies, not Bookies.😊
I didn't even understand the first time around that he was actually saying Buc-ee's.
Noel I love how you explore things in the USA but buses here are for people who cannot afford to drive, as in your example here from Houston to DFW. This would be for you the version of some Brit getting on a bus from LHR to Norwich. Only LOSER Americans do this mate!
Mexico and I believe other Latin American countries have extensive intercity bus services that are run more like airports, but cheaper and with less hassle. Their terminals are often clean, safe, have food courts, convenience stores, luggage storage, restrooms, and are not filled with crazy homeless or other sketchy people. Depending on which company you use, you can often ride buses like this one. If there were more services like these, you bet I would use them more often to travel within Texas and maybe Louisiana. I also live in Houston.
I think one major reason why we don't have services like these is because there isn't much of a demand for them like countries like Mexico. There is a negative perception of buses and of people who use them. People here in the U.S. tend to prefer to use their cars or go in planes. Depending on availability and price, I would definitely consider to use Vonlane in the future. No tear and wear on my car, no stress from driving, and I get to enjoy the views on my way.
Love Field is where they used to bring Air Force 1 to get it serviced & repaired. All the way from D.C. Also so it is not very far from Parkland Hospital where they took President Kennedy when he was assassinated in 1963. Thx for the memories. Also Houston & Dallas are growing so quickly what used to be convenient is 20 – 30 miles away now. The next time you go to the Metroplex you might visit downtown Fort Worth (FoWrth) & visit Billy Bob's – a city within a city. Thx Again
At least the bus stop at the hotel.
Seems like getting to downtown from your hotel probably isn't too bad. A bus to the nearest light rail station which will take you to downtown runs 4 trips per hour (not great but not the worst either).

I drove long haul coach out of Canada for 43 years. As senior driver in our division, I was the first driver to run (on a paying run) this MCI J4500 Renaissance bus when it was still a prototype. I did a 12 hour journey (which was my regular route) and MCI on the return trip the next day, got on the bus just outside the city, and interviewed my passengers. At the bus depot they had video cameras all ready for our arrival, and it was quite a hoopla. I ran this bus for a whole year, and then they took it back for more modifications and upgrades etc. I see they still have the spiral staircase, however the coach that I tested did not have any of the fancy stuff that I see here. Great bus!
its still a bus

I've been looking for videos like this. Oddly, I enjoy viewing bus rides, it gives me a sense of comfort, and I truly enjoyed this one. I also enjoyed the brief moment checking in at the hotel, and I can literally smell that unique aroma that hotels usually have. It's soothing and intoxicating to me. 😅 I'm also from Texas, born and raised, and I recognized a lot of the locations the bus was passing. Well, I truly enjoyed your video, and I subscribed and look forward to seeing more. 🙌🏼
wow @ a doubletree and they didnt offer you a cookie at check in, so disappointing!
In Bangladesh, we can ride in a similar bus (2 by 1, double rear axles) for around $15. However, we don't have toilet, and snacks there. But considering only 15$, that's sill very good.
0:24 That's a stretch. I was measuring Houston using google maps, and being VERY generous when measuring out the "boarders" of Houston, I came up with 70 miles, but that's going from tip to tip of suburbs.
Here when the video is exactly 1 year old
Good looking bus
Honestly, I wouldn't call this ride "luxurious", because compared to what is usual in other countries it lacks some amenities (for example, individual TV screens as the ones in airplanes, separation curtains, or fully 180 degrees reclining seats).
However, it is certainly a very nice and comfortable ride compared to what is usual in US; way superior to whatever Greyhound or Peterpan offer, and years light better than those cheap torture buses going and coming from Chinatown….
Mexico has had buses like that for years. And they're 1/3rd the price.
MCI made in Canada 🇨🇦 as of Jan 20 /25 will probably be subject to a 25% tariff
Noel – get a grip man! It's a 'bus', not a 'boos'. 😀
How the hell is there not a train route between Houston and Dallas?
