  1. Always adored ALEX , as a older lady observing a young man supporting his wife and being so impressed by your shared team work, but absolutely moved to right sincere gratitude to your both being so open about your experiences and sharing that in the hope that it helps others. Everyone just wishes to be heard. For someone else to fully engage, without judging and to be able to share their experience ~ when it’s dismissed and not valued the person is left with further pain, and turmoil and perhaps further shame and the issues are deepened and the sense of healing is made harder. Your parents perhaps didn’t have the tools to hear your fully. They are perhaps not able for those kinds of talks… but other people are and it’s absolutely fantastic that you have found a counsellor/ therapist that is equipped to hear you , as well as close friends and Victoria. Be proud of yourself Alex and be proud of each other for working through theses episodes together that really is a wonderfully loving and mature way to do this. Great you are aware of what and who is helping. Love to you both ❀

  2. Hope this helps Alex.. i’m a woman but that’s irrelevant & struggle with mental health (i mean who doesnt these days) but what’s helped me is to refer to it as β€œbrain health”, which creates less stigma.. compared to this narrative you’re mentally f’ed up. The brain is a muscle that needs to be exercised regularly just like the body & training it & learning the tools to deal with life’s struggles is crucial. You’re right your brain lies to you everyday. Read Dr Amen’s books – Change your brain every day. He has a million others & his podcast is πŸ’―!!

  3. black jumper the jeans and the pointed chelsea boots outfit and the blue shirt really reminds me of a cool male lead singer of a band haha i’d look horrific in all of it x

  4. Hi Victoria! I’m not sure if you will ever see this but this video REALLY spoke to me and I’m currently watching Alex open up and sobbing. My person also suffers in the same way and I just am so sad that he feels that way. It’s nice to hear there are others who have similar experiences. ❀❀ sending lots of love

  5. Me and my partner have a β€œrule” when you need to talk about something that is bothering you mentally/emotionally and it’s honestly the key to a good and supportive relationship.
Whenever me or my partner needs to open up and talk, the other person always ask β€œdo you need solutions or do you need a listener?”

Thank you for speaking about this and for sharing🩡

  6. Love love love this video… bless Alex, thank you.. and the net a porter ❀ .. I’m not a fan of brown suede boots but you’ve changed my mind with the pairing with the gorgeous brown knit!! X

  7. Thank you for sharing this. I lost my husband to suicide. I never knew he struggled. I just felt something off at the end. I’ll always live with that guilt.
Alex, thank you for taking ownership of your journey. You’re saving lives, so thank you. And hold him tight, V.

  8. GIRL, GIVE YOUR MAN A HUG. I know the puppy was there, but from my perspective he looked disappointed that you just shifted the focus and went to another subject. Hubbies before puppies

  9. Alex seemed always a bit of lost in that superficial circus . And it felt like he was not found his place because of his own personality. Now he looks more confident and has boundaries. Boundaries that allows him to be his authentic self. I’m really impressed how he involved as a person . Very inspiring

  10. It is incredibly powerful to hear Alex talk about his struggles and Victoria's desire to fix them for him, and how he just needed someone to listen and be there, not give advice or try to fix it. As a therapist and a fellow struggler, I couldn't agree with this more. We love you guys and are so appreciative for the community you've created.

  11. I have always enjoyed watching the two of you.
Today I listened to Alex speaking about his Mental Health. I am a Mother whose Son is struggling with Mental Health. What resonated with me was when Alex said that it takes time. It does between Medication, Therapy and Life Style. Fine Tuning.
Victoria is a problem solver, trying to fix it. So true and on point, just LISTEN.πŸ˜…
Wishing you both Health and Happiness for 2024

  12. Thank you for sharing your personal struggles and opening up on how you’re working through them.
I can agree that it was concerning that men in the past were taught & encouraged to keep all their feelings inside.
I also am concerned for men today who are encouraged to become less masculine as if being strong minded and not giving into fears is a disgusting and antiquated behavior.
Unfortunately men today are encouraged and applauded to feel sad and worried and anxious all the time, as if those feelings deserve an award. Instead the healthy reality is men talking & working through those feelings should be respected and admired.
I honestly think that Faith & a healthy relationship with God and his word(Bible) are the most powerful tools we have to help us as both men & women understand our emotional highs and lows.
    1st Peter 5:7 says:
β€œCast all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.”
Too many times we are searching everywhere for answers from other flawed human beings instead of looking at the Greatest spirit who walked this earth as a man so he could relate to us and help us from the inside outπŸ™πŸ»

  13. I just love when you guys sit down and talk to the camera over lunch/dinner….feels like I am sitting in a cafe with friends catching up on things we have going on at the moment.❀

  14. Dearest Alex, you couldn't have described depression and anxiety any better. You could have what appears to be the perfect life from the outside, but it doesn't mean you aren't suffering. It very much is a personal journey, and I agree, an ear from someone is better than a list of solutions. Often triggers go way back and don't necessarily have roots in your current life. Thank you for sharing x

  15. Alex Bravo talking about mental health, and sometimes you can’t advice or feel powerlessness to help. But I think just listening and being there and available to talk with no judgement is so powerful. Always be kind, because you never know what a person is going g through. Big hugs Alex.πŸ’™πŸ‘

  16. That bag is absolutely beautiful 😍 absolutely keep it, navy goes with everything and it looks a little more casual than a birkin while still being luxurious
