I regret coming to UK?? || Should have listen to Dyna Ekwueme & Phrankleen??

I feel like I came into the UK at a wrong time. The light at the end of the tunnel is still out of my sight. My lovely plan has been shattered by what’s going on in our world. I was warned but I didn’t listen….Would it be Covid19 that has caused this havoc and all round disappointment for me?? Pray for me.

I haven’t given up yet as I’m a…

  1. So the moral of this story is to have a plan before going over to the UK. Simples. I don't agree with do as I say not what I do people. Im talking about the two people you referenced especially the guy. Everyone's journey is different. Some smooth others rough. The key is planning. As the saying goes he who fails to plan, plans to fail. This is late but I hope you were successful in your hustle.

  2. I’ll rather be in Germany when I know I don’t have to pay fees, but all the same it’s not easy in Abroad. Stay motivated, the future is definitely bright

  3. For cyber security jobs try Switzerland, Germany, Ireland, Netherlands, Denmark, Malta, Italy etc Write some companies and recruitment agencies in these countries. Twitter is your friend.
    Wishing you good luck.

  4. To be honest I regret coming to the uk🤦‍♀️ but is done I will definitely make a video on that too but you still have 2year base on the recent changes so hopefully things will work out for

  5. Have you considered the sabbatical officer role in the student union (great exception to tier 4 visa) and a start-up visa? These are visa opportunities tied to the university. In my opinion, getting something tied to a higher education institution is one of the easiest ways to get a visa

  6. Nothing like wrong time, watch God perfect everything concerning you as you keep hopes alive. Still clapping for you here, cos you have made it👏👏👏

  7. You are not going home empty handed, the experience and the education, no one can take that away from you, you are a different person from a year ago. But am so sorry you are feeling down. Always remember everything happens on God's time we are all where we are meant to be and greater things will come for you. Keep your head up❤️

I heard you say something about cyber security, not entirely sure what you are studying but just suggesting try applying to the Big Four in their audit departments maybe something will give. Kpmg, pwc, etc for IT Audit or consultancy roles.

  8. Bro… there are some two options you may consider
    1. if you have enough savings, go for a second masters before leaving the country (you won't need to show maintenance and all that jazz with the new rule). This would get you qualified for the new 2 year post-graduate visa after you graduate from the course. phD is also a great option if you're up for it.
    2. If you had 3 years work experience (including NYSC) before leaving Nigeria, the straight way to Canada is Express entry. Their study visa process has around 80% denial for Nigerians… so that one na luck.

  9. I’m sorry to hear that you have had such a tough time with the UK job market. I’ve been watching your videos on Sunderland as I’m hoping to get an offer to study there and they have really helped me get a picture of the place.

Why don’t you try to apply for entry level or lower skilled jobs such as support work, care and warehouse operative work etc. to maintain your visa, and start looking at applying to jobs in your field whilst working.
