I have hated how I look my entire life, no one sees me for the real me | Lynn Ngugi Network

Today, Agnes weighs 208 Kilograms but she says it’s not about eating too much or being greedy, it’s just how she was born. Her greatest desire is to be seen for who she really is.

On the other hand, Charity is tired of men hitting on her because of the weight

So what exactly keeps them motivated?

  2. This interview made me really really sad. Their weight has nothing to do food. They need a complete workup including thyroid disease and then come up with a game plan. Exercise and nutrition only will not help.

  3. When it comes to weight ive seen it all.ive heard it all so i understand what theyve gone through . I was called names wueh..am loving on me ..one time i wws with my partner and some just asked is he tour son. Mark you i was only 31 .hehehe wacha tu
    Love you girls .

  4. Somebody should help Agnes who was kicked out by her brothers from her parents home. Constitution gives ALL women rights to inherit their parents. Also in Kikuyu culture girls who don't get married lived in their parents house permanently. Brothers can sometimes be selfish as they coerce their sisters to get married. Kama shamba ni kidogo, then brothers should work hard and buy more land instead of disinheriting their sisters.

  5. Wow Agnes. What perception. You shall overcome my sister. It's not easy. I wasn't as big as you are but I've always been overweight and know the rejection big people go thru. You're strong though my sisters

  6. Most overweight people are in denial that they don't eat much, nobody got overweight out of eating too little or healthy. The first step is to accept that one need to change their eating habits otherwise they'll never lose weight. If a camera was put infron of them the whole day, you'll see they're not eating well. Gym is not the answer but your eating habits. 80% of your weight loss comes from changing diet

  7. One thing we have to be honest about ourselves when we are overweight is that there's something we are doing something wrong. If we're not honest we can't change. I have family members who are overweight and they deny of eating too much. I have watched them for a period of days and noticed that they're what we call grazers. They eat continuously. They'll stretch their hand whenever offered food. The easiest way to lose weight is to control what enters into their mouth. Use calorie density fo example; eat more vegetables than ugali. Avoid heavy carbs like ugali and chapati for dinner. Eat light foods for dinner, mostly a bowl of vegetables. If you have to eat obly vegetables for dinner, eat big bowl not a tiny plate. Your stomach should feel full. Keep yourself busy throughout the day and you'll see that over time you you are getting results. Above everything, never give up. You can do this.

  8. Bullying is all over. How I pray we can be human & treat people they way they are.
I'm a slim body mum with twins & people even question me about my kids, eti oooh ulipata aje watoto na iyo mwili Yako, oooh ni kukula hukuli, some men tells me nioende nikutreat vizuri ni kama uyo mume wako hakulishi vizuri!!!!!!
Please if somebody is ok with herself/himself mind your business & be positive.

  9. Feeling for you ladies
Society should not judge. You are beautiful and God's children. Try taking warm water mixed with fresh tumeric morning and evening before eating. Take lots of vegetables little carbohydrates and proteins. Wishing you best❤❤❤

  10. Weight is a real issue and it is a sickness as well. Psychotherapy is needed to get to the real root cause of how it started, breaking the habits. This might be an unpopular opinion but weight can really affect your whole life and esteem, and it is not about being lazy, etc. I can refer them both to the Nairobi bariatric center and when they are ready, I can pay for a consultation for them there. It shall be well Agnes and Charity. Thank you for being able to share your stories.
