  1. Costal Roads are very beautiful and should be encouraged. Back in the days I traveled from San Francisco to Houston via Los Angels on Amtrak. It was one of the most beautiful experiences I have ever had. Ok I fly a lot of the times and have enjoyed looking down cities from the skies but that Costal Road journey has stayed with me ever since.

  2. Since from the first day I saw this CEO of landmark…I know say them go pure sand for him garri… The beach is the attractive thing for people coming to landmark… Once there no beach is no longer beach

  3. This is counter productive to the efforts being put to invite foreign investors to Nigeria. Government policies are so unstable such that one just wakes up one morning to hear one’s life investment is going down. Nobody in their right senses will see these things and want to invest in the country and most especially Lagos.

  4. British government gives out loans to Professors to carry out different academic research. Nigerian government during an economic hardship time, inflicting more pain on her citizens.

  5. HI-TEC ( the new construction company) is owned by the same person that owns ITB., the same company that owns Eko Atlantic. And Eko Altlanic is on the Atlantic (coastal line literally on reclaimed waterfront, just like its predecessor Banana Island) to be the ultimate tourist site for the rich… and we have Landmark beating to the punchline… do the math.

  6. To be very candy with everyone in the comment section, Nigeria will never be great with such mindset and reasoning… You are supporting one person’s project and investment that serves just 3million comfortable people to a Government project that will serve all Nigerians ( 250million and counting) because the rich guy is crying all over the media. I challenge this man to tell us if he hasn’t made * 5 of the invested money in the last 17years…. I understand his pain but in this life nothing last forever. He should be proud of what he has done as an investor and make do with the rest of the area that the government is not touching from his project. He should be a proud Nigerian and stop making noise up and down abeg respectfully 🫡

  7. The man bought a land overlooking the ocean from lagos state govt and not the federal govt.

Federal govt is telling him that lagos state does not own the ocean view neither did he pay for it.

I feel sorry for the man, bcos there is little he can do to change the situation.
    So sad.

  8. It makes no sense to build on the beach. What happens to tourism when the beach is gone?! The gov't powers everyone they are moving. In America, businesses would be compensated.
