I have been thrice to Zanzibar….the last visit in 2021 when I escaped UK Covid19 lockdown. I stayed 3 months.
Beautiful island. Jambiani is my favourite resort but I found out Zanzibar is dead boring outside the holiday seasons.
Food options very limited and the local women working in the tourism industry are very hostile and horrible to black female solo travellers.
Loved the scenery. Zanzibar is paradise!

its so disgusting to see Masai in Zanzibar… they are just there as tourist traps used by Italian hoteliers for the simple minded tourists .. what a disgrace to not only Zanzibar but also to the Masai people who live on the mainland of Tanzania and Kenya … fake people acting like Masai on Islands that have nothing to do with them … its a joke why Westerners have them here
