Really enjoyed that powerful and informative speech by pretty experienced president. I know as a somalian i’m the button of our continent list, however, I became very glad to see our president Hassan attending such conferences to learn from our brothers and sisters to move our country forward. Thank u honorable president long life coz we still need ur expertise.
Life always requiring a proper vaccine of speech
Thank you sir
It will be very difficult for people to comprehend this especially the younger African leaders. This philosophical facts may be very hard to be comprehended by them especially this is due to their excitement. Most of them are convinced beyond reasonable doubt that they are loved by the so called foreign forces interms of governing african countries well. As uganda we still have too much trust in you. But for the rest of african presidents stick on your identity and dont forget about the long past (clandestine foreign alliance is never in a favour of your netives. It is just only for you). We have moved a step and please dont sleep you can make it, help the people you lead.
Military precision in the speech ❤
You are the best
It's strikingly hypocritical when some African leaders criticize the West for issues they themselves perpetuate. They dictate to their people, abuse their human rights, exhibit a glaring superiority complex, and operate under the delusion that only they know what's best for their nations. Museveni is a prime example of this double standard. When they lose legitimacy, they conveniently invoke pan-Africanism to hoodwink uncritical masses across the continent.
Thank you Sir 🤌🙏
Thank you Sir 🤌🙏
he also can't speak clearly tragic that africa has such leaders, african people deserve much much better.
Mseveni understands well that Africans have been Brain washed by the west n east to steal from them at a lower price and sell to them at a high price
It's natural evolution as a species that we are where we are…in a 200,000 years or more we will be in better shape
❤️💛💙💚
OLD BUT GOLD
The real remaining Mzee M7 great speech
Much more realistic is Bonga d'Angola. He carries the way to solution for your continent. Bonga 72. That's called belief.
But Uganda 🇺🇬 had good railway transportation before u mr.museveni but now look at Uganda railway now
This is an African President? Oh boy, we have a long way to go. Come and see roads in Kampala. Terrible is an understatement!
yES my mothers student from University of Dar-es-salaam! If only your wise words can be spread to other African leaders! Cause a new colonial master is about to steal our minds, soul & land for good 🙏🏾
Died people clothes lol
This guy is well experienced, we all need to learn from what he says if we are to develop Africa
This explains why they have labelled him a dictator… they have been exposed…
This is a great pan-African speech.
Look at all that Diversity in the crowd( that’s me being sarcastic by the way)
But I can literally see hundreds of THEM in my small town in SCOTLAND….why is that😏& you can have them back anytime because most are utterly hopeless
African countries MUST shake off the fleas of the west in order to grow ,the west want to keep Africa poor and dependent on them but Africa dont need them ,its the west that needs Africa.
Museveni sounds like a visionary leader who is well versed in economic and social policies. I also like his ideological philosophy for Africa, yet I don't understand why Uganda has not achieved economic prosperity under his over 30yr reign.
And you will hear some foolish people calling him a dictator for talking sense.
Museveni is a wise man
I hope and pray that African leaders hears and learns from this wise President.
Uganda is not deploying his security personnel anywhere but they are in peace focusing on its own economy and internal affairs we need people like museveni to musevenise africa again
Ruto where are you youHE stop focusing on western philosophy listen to your close neighbor and you will succeed but stop creating that western mindset 😢😢
I thought after the death of president Robert Mugabe of Zimbabwe, there was going to be a vacuum. But thank heavens,we have yet another man, stronger than Mugabe, who doesn't sympathize with western people with white faces and pink noses. I say Bravo Mr.President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni of Uganda. The world needs people like you.
God bless you Mr president
Love from Nigeria 🇳🇬
Bang on. Africa needs to shift from commodity producers to final goods. The continent has all the natural resources, but it must be the final producer of its resources. This will enable wealth growth and economic development
In order to get to this point, significant investment must be made in factor of production and it needs in-flow of investment. This cascades into growth of job creation too.
This man is bang on about the locus of production. Transportation is monumental in the development of a country. If transportation costs are reduced then suppliers and customers can have access to services at reduced price. This also enables wealth to stay within the continent of Africa rather than moving it to Europe and other places. Africa is a continent with remarkable potential but it must build an adequate foundation
I wish TINIBU and OTHER CRIMINAL LEADERS CAN LEARN FROM THIS GUY
Gteat mind… great PRESIDENT…KUDOS
Museveni is right in the wrong continent
Hahahaha I really like listening President Museveni.
I really need to be in this summit
😂😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂
My hero M7 the only African remaining salute 🫡
Hope Edgar lungu is watching
😂😂😂😂 with these few words after talking for 30ms!! But anywa its such a wonderful speech that every african leader need to emulate and think of how much wealthy does the continent donate to other continents every year at the expense of our….. Donners please stop funding or even giving us profitabilty aid that end up in board rooms and do not transform the continent into the money evonomy but leaves us in the subsistance economy as Mwesimiwe Museveni has put it to you!!
Thanks mr President museven!!
I understand the why some ugandans might hate him, but all he has done is tried to keep his country sovereign, even against the will of a large percentage of his own people who are shortsighted and have been brainwashed by the West. He did everything with way less formal education than most of the puppet regimes littered allover Africa.
Its true Uganda would be better under the rotation of different puppet regimes, but it's better to die of starvation standing on both legs, than you and your offsprings living fat on your knees for your entire existence. The country is rich and fit to take care of it's people, but the West has been holding it down with all kinds of sanctions just to turn his people against him. The same Ugandans praise the rising revolution against neocolonialism in the Sahel region of Africa, but fail to realise their own very leader is a blueprint of what Africans want for their States. He is the only survivor of the breed that stood with integrity against neocolonialism and has paid dearly for it.
The West has tried to use a lot of puppets like Bobbi Wine to bring him down but I thank our Gods & Ancestors for giving him long live, courage and knowledge to pass down the true definition of integrity to the new generation of Africans 💪🏿
Yoweri is wise…makes a lot of sense… neocolonialism and modern slavery should be huge discussions in Africa
This is very articulated speech by comrades President Museveni African leaders must work for the interests of Africans not a colonial masters or new colonial masters otherwise we will remain slaves forever 😡
Many won't want to hear this, but I believe it's true.
If Uganda or Kenya or any other stable African nation allowed foreigners to freehold land, they're economy would skyrocket.
Ghana for example is about the same size as Uganda but has about 10 million less people. However Ghana's nominal GDP is about 25 billion USD more than Uganda's. Uganda is land locked, but subtracting Ghana's shipping export revenue of about 3.5 billion USD still places Ghana's economy is greater than Uganda's. I think this is because Ghana allows foreigners to freehold land.
I say this because I personally know a family who attempted to move to Kenya and start a business. When they found out that Americans couldn't freehold land in Kenya they checked Uganda, then Nairobi.
Ultimately they moved to Colombia where they invested around 1 million USD of their own money and currently employ about 100 people Colombians. They own their home, their manufacturing plant, their children go to the local schools, they pay their taxes, and generally contribute to the benefit of the local and national economy.
Now I'm not saying you should allow foreigners to own thousands of hectares of prime farm land or that no restrictions should apply. I don't think foreign companies should be allowed to freehold land. But what I am saying is that there are thousands of people who would love to move countries like Uganda and invest their savings into the local economy, but not a a lease holder.
I'm not African. It's your continent and your countries so do as you please. But if you're willing to accept a little advice from just a regular old black guy in the USA whose spent time in multiple countries to include 9 months in Africa (Uganda, Kenya, Ethiopia and Djibouti). If you allow us, on an individual basis, to fully participate and fully benefit from our participation in your countries. Your countries and people will reap the rewards.
