  1. Fun Fact: Leptis Magna is part of the three historic cities that made up Tripoli. That's where Tripoli's name comes from; it literally means "three cities" in Greek.

  2. Thank you! I'm homeschooling my kids and this was such an incredible video about this country. Subscribed and plan to utilise you as we learn all about the countries of Africa.

  3. I hope you will miss some of the places out… it is supposed to be technically or actually illegal to visit some places due to there still never being contact with outsiders, it may give them the outside diseases which can be a plague for some of these / have a wonderful week, stay safe

  9. so they call Those ruins Roman EVERYWHERE around the mediterranean , only in turkey they say this is greek despite the fact that greece was founded as a artificial country in 1830`s .

  10. Wow, what a trip, man! Dad was stationed on Wheelus AFB from '57-'60 and our family lived off base in the noncom neighborhood. We visited Leptis Magna and the Sabratha when I was 5, so all I really remembered was climbing up and down huge rectangular HOT stone blocks. This was pre-Khaddafi but I'm here to tell ya, Tripoli sucked more than anything Dyson ever dreamed of.
