  1. Why did the people of Libya helped America to kill their own president Gaddafi? I heard that he made the country so prosperous that even the living standards was better than Saudi Arabia.

  2. Im in libya right now, im going to school right now. Anyway, i think its so sad what happened here. This county was so beautiful but too many resources for a war not to start. The country is now really broken, but the to me saddest thing here but also the most impressive is how the people have no leader but try to rebuild so many things in tripoli. They are so positive and friendly that you just automaticlly think they WILL do it. B

  3. Libya, is a confusing case. Dispite being in a civil war, before that, it was actually one of the best countries in Africa, Rapidly growing too, but after the leader/dictator of Libya [Depends on who you ask], a civil war broke out, but the infastructure there is holding, but it might or might not go away, the ceasefire recently shows that Libya may reunite soon.

  4. Love from Italy 🇮🇹🇱🇾 Libya is one of the most beautiful places in the world, long live Libya ❤ im so sad about the war, i hope it ends soon

  5. Drew, thank you so much for this video. My father was born and raised in Tripoli. His Sicilian parents had a store in the square. His family went to Italy during ww2 because the bombs and gun fire were becoming too much. They returned to Tripoli after the war and he eventually came to the US in the mid 50’s he told me a lot about his hometown but your video really brought it to life. I’m Italian American but I’m also proud to have been raised with some Libyan culture. It’s a beautiful country.
