I use to live in one of the crappiest parts of my town. There was this little store that sold everything. Best food of my life. Ran by a local gang leader. First time there he was having trouble with his computer so I fixed it for him. Later that month he told me that a few of his gang members were going to rob me the first day but I did him a solid do am protected now.

I had a go-to Chinese spot that was so good that the homeless would constantly hassle you for money to eat there outside or while waiting in line. I once had someone pull on the back of my shirt and I turned around to punch that person but it was an elderly lady so I had to hold myself back because she wanted a dollar to eat there so I just gave her a buck.
