Never take a soul away, no matter how much God is a merciful God, he revenge, didn't you see how he dealt with Moses and David?and other chosen prophets? Taking a soul is not a sin that goes unpunished, and it brings a big spiritual repercussions in families, if your relative murders, you need to seek God's face in fasting and praying and pleading for mercy, it's a curse that goes a long way in family, i don't trust your body language, deep down you look disturbed, worried, scared, because of what you witnessed.

I learnt that one Can not bribe God, He knows the intentions of our heart. He is a judge and He judges our Sinful ways,even if you Repent you will still go through his correction, remember the price paul paid, even after turning back to christ,but God was always with him. We all have fallen short of God glory but He is just and faithful to forgive. But lets not forget the devil who is always a roaring lion Looking for someone to devour, especially those who were once in christ and backslides it turns to the worst for them. So lets turn in christ will all our being, for we are at the ENDTIMES!
