Steve Marriot is a Legend
Baby girl..I/ we miss you and the lady..Momma (J)
Where be at and to..?
when he mentions Steve Marriot being the 'definitive artful dodger' he is referring to Steve's first role as a youngster doing Oliver Twist play. You realise his introduction is the same person of his comments as a young man with the big boofy hair and bucky teeth at the end of the video
Vanetta fields is the middle backing singer, she would have some stories to tell, look her up in biography, so many artists as a backing singer and ended up in Australia with a more long standing relationship with the great John Farnham, great singer great voice would love to see an in depth interview of her life as a Child in america and to who and how she worked with so many well known estrablished artist and to her final stage in Australia. She is must get for interviewing in to , even just for Music History. Amazing women. Please do it Vanetta!
I get chills every. Damn. Time! I hear that ending and his wail🔥
You can pause by hitting the space bar on your keyboard. much better
Nope. Not about coffee.
He was sharing Clydie King’s black coffee… she’s the singer on the right.
Yeah Jay honey you get it. it's not his coffee he likes black!!!
The lead singer,Steve Marriott was going with(maybe married to,not sure) to the girl on the right at the time
Loved the reaction!
"Black Coffee" is an old Ike and Tina Turner song. I like it but I prefer Humble Pie's own songs. Try "Hot and Nasty", "30 Days in the Hole" or "Good Booze and Bad Women".
I had to go out and find out when I first saw this when I was young, been having black coffee ever since.
P.S. Maybe sometime ya can check out his other band called "Small Faces" song called "Itchycoo Park"
OMG OMG OMG!!! YAY!!! No one ever does *Humble Pie* i freakin *LUV YOU JAYY* damn ya freakin *Rock* so hard for THIS!!!! *LuvMyLilDynamiteSteveMarriott* ball of energy ready to *Explode* & so cutie luv his lil smiles * lil laughs he IS THE *Best* Oh & Fun Fact: he was in consideration for being the Lead Singer in *My Beloved Led Zeppelin* ponder that a min heh smh course it was always meant to be the *Hammer Of The Gods 4* but crazy still mhm
Nice job 👍
Humble Pie was one my favorite bands when I was a teen.
Steve Marriott was asked to be the lead singer for Led Zeppelin, having been the front man for The Small Faces, Tin Soldier awesome song, after leaving Small Faces went on to sing for the band Humble pie, I don’t need no doctor rocking the Filmore a banger, 30 days in the hole another belter! Sadly for his fans Steve Marriott succumbed to smoke inhalation during a fire that destroyed his home! R.I.P Steve Marriott a monster of a front man. ✌🏻
RIP Steve, thank you. The guitar player next to the Blackberries is Peter Frampton. I still think Steve was a better lead player than Peter. Jim
I like my coffee like I like my soul—Black.
There's a reason the presenter is known as "Whispering Bob". Robert Brinley Joseph Harris OBE (born 11 April 1946), popularly known as "Whispering Bob" Harris, is an English music presenter. He was a host of the BBC2 music programme The Old Grey Whistle Test and was a co-founder of the listings magazine Time Out. He presents Bob Harris Country on Thursdays on BBC Radio 2 at 9 pm, not sure if that is still the case though.
Harris has been broadcasting on the BBC for 50 years and has been recognised with the Americana Music Association of America Trailblazer Award, a UK Heritage Award and a MOJO Medal, as well as his OBE for services to broadcasting. Wikipedia.

Steve Marriott was a force of nature. You should go back to around 1966 to the Small Faces where he was Lead Singer one of their songs was Tin Soldier. RIP Steve Marriott😢
The late great Stevie Marriott, the greatest rock/soul singer the UK has ever produced. Check out his previous band, The Small Faces and 'Tin Soldier' with P.P. Arnold providing the backing vocals. This was Stevie at his very best. RIP Stevie.
