We raised and ate our rabbits. This was how we lived. Then when we got into hunting, and brought home the game dad or mom would clean then the next night would be the best pot pie ever. This is how we lived back in the day. I truly miss this lifestyle. ❤

I've never ever butchered an animal and probably don't have what it takes to do it. But I find it interesting because I do eat meat and believe it's important to understand what the whole process is so we can have the products we consume,
it does not taste like chicken. it has its own specific but excellent flavor.
What you called "Death throws" it's buit in the design of the creator Almighty God, to pump the blood out, so you may consume clean healthy meat drained from blood, which is full of toxins and if not drained the meat will rot much quicker.
The other reason why you must slaughter the animal by cutting along the throat with a very sharp knife is because it's the most pain free humane way to end it's life. If you have cut yourself before with a sharp razor or knife, you know that you don't feel pain instantly. It take between 30 seconds to many minutes after the cut that you start feeling the pain. The animal goes unconscious within seconds due to a sharp drop in blood pressure. The body goes into a shock survivial unconscious mode. And the body's muscles start throwing in an attempt to pump blood to the heart, which accelerates the process of draining the body from blood. Eating blood or feeding it to your chicken is a bad idea.
The cow flue pandemic happened because they werecfeeding cows animal's butchers waste.
Check the Islamic or Jewsish way of Halal/Kosher meat.

One thing to notice is that pretty much every mammal looks the same on the inside and that you can butcher basically all mammals the same. (To make butchering bigger things easier you use might do things differently. But my point still stands)
