Zim cream on doughnuts so much better than , whats the cream making process they use. Grew up on these and Fresh Cream Buns at break time cost a tikkie (21/2 cents) same as coke and ice cream and chips so for a shilling you could get a lot. 10cents. My pocket money was 25c and I sold old newspapers for extra money.

– 1 egg or 3 egg yolks
– 2 tps Allison fast active yeast
– 60g president butter unsalted
– 1 tp salt
– 2tbs water / 50ml
– 30g caster sugar
– 160ml milk (Luke warm)
