Can I use Lactose intolerant milk?
Whoaaaa !!! Excuse me, did you say at 03:25 to cool down to 110 degrees centigrade? Weh?
Hi ma’am please how long does a youghourt starter last?
I use powdered peak milk and lime for my starter then I used skimmed milk for the main yogurt
It got a little burnt but I only poured out the side that didn't burn because I didn't stir well when on fire
But one good thing it didn't boil for too long
Then I allowed it to be warm before I poured my mixed milk starter (i.e takin a little starter and a little warm milk in a separate bowl mixing it very well before pouring into the entire warm milk)
So I left it for 8hours I checked it only one side formed yoghurt so I tied it back with a towel and doubled the poly bag and covered it in a warm place and I left it over night for additional 15-16hrs and it formed the yogurt very thick and hard a little water under
I drained the water under
So now my question is this
It has a smell not pleasant but not rotten
Its smells somehow but taste swore
And it formed very well
Please what can I do to it?
Can I use it to make another batch of yoghurt or I just eat it like that?
Please help me what should I do?
Should I throw it away?
Please help me.
Left mine for like 24hr/30 mins
Am so scared …is it still good ?
110 centigrade or Fahrenheit? you can't touch 110 centigrade without burning yourself. Also, milk boils at around 100 centigrade… I'm sure you confused centigrade with Fahrenheit and I'm sure you should have used Fahrenheit 110degreesF = 43degrees C…that you could touch without burning yourself
Thanks a million times great Lady
