1 – Red Onion, Medium
1 – White Onion, Large
Cabbage
Coconut Oil

To Season & Steam Meat
Meat
Chicken Seasoning – tt
Ground Anise – tt
Ground Cumin – tt
Salt – tt

You get all your vitamins from your vegetables. I like mines tender but the longer you cook vegetables the less nutrients you get

I enjoyed this recipe very much. It's very easy, accessible, and I felt so healthy as I crunched on that cabbage lol. It was also a good intro recipe for folks (like me) who are interested, but generally unfamiliar with African/Ghanaian food.

I halved the recipe with no trouble, although the small pot I used and my high-altitude made it take more time for it to cook down. My favorite part of this recipe is using the rinse water from the blender directly in the stew to reduce waste. Tasty, healthy, AND practical!
