  1. I've got a tagine and am wondering if I do it like you've suggested in this video or would I get away with just adding all the ingredients and putting it in the oven? Do you think it will make much difference?

  2. I made this exactly as shown and it turned out exactly as pictured. Here's the thing- I'm not used to having such sweetness in a savory meal. It could be that the dates in Turkey are bigger than the ones you were cutting up (not a competition, just an observation). I used 2 less dates than the recipe called for, but do you think I should have cut them back more? Or is there another way to make this just a tad more savory?

I must say it was a happy day when I found this: https://thehappypear.ie/recipe/ My plan is to make as many of these as I can find the ingredients for.

It's not only that your recipes are amazing (they are), but they are user-friendly recipes delivered to us in such a fun-loving, exciting way.

I truly appreciate your hard work. Thank you so much. Peace from an unseasonably warm Istanbul winter evening.

  3. We just made this tonight. All five of the kids pitched in. It was a great and filling dish but even a better way to spend some time with the family. Thank you so much.

  4. I would love to try this recipe! However your video is not very consistent. You started with the ingredients on the screen in the beginning… why not continue that throughout the whole video? Not even any approximate measurements for the spices? I was also disappointed to see that the link posted in the description box no longer goes any recipe. In future I would suggest keeping the recipes that you post here on YouTube linked to an archived recipe section of your webpage. For those of us who just recently stumbled onto the video looking for recipe ideas for dinner. Just a suggestion.

  5. hey guys i really like your recipes but you put almost in all of them tamari or soya sauce, sorry but i come from the middle east we have many vegetarian dishes and we dont use soya sauce, whats the connection of Tagine and soya sauce? the soya sauce just ruin the dish….sorry
