  1. Well done, but i must say; As a Hausa person you shouldnt use any cut of meat you like. We hausa named it suya because of the cut of meat used, we have other variations of suya such as Balango, kilishi and soo on… which vary in taste, based on the cut of meat we use and the style in which we finish it. Generally everyone refer to our grilled/smoked meats as suya, but true every Hausa person knows the differences and our secrete ingredient is kwulikwuli, as we eat a lot of spices and peanuts and you're supposed to use the peanut oil. We out spice in everything. Even in all our drinks. 😂

  2. Love your recipe. 2nd time using it this year. I found the thinnest beef cut is shaved beef. Very thin and you don't need to tenderize as much.
    I also used peanut and vegetable oil.
