Thank you for the recipe, so easy to follow. Can the spices be switched? What about using smoked paprika? And i noticed there is no garlic……? Thanks so much.

I'm always looking for good soups and stews! I'm going to try this, maybe make it vegetarian… do you think it would be better with a meat substitute like Impossible meat, or should i maybe just do something with an umami taste like diced mushrooms, or just leave it out?

Green lentils are hard to find in my place. Can i substitute it with brown/black or the red lentils?

I’m going to make this for my wife…either a vegan or pollotarian version…wife has dairy and red meat allergies (among other allergies…sesame, kiwi, pine nuts).

Love the flour and water technique, I've used flour to thicken stuff before but always ended up with unwanted lumps, so definitely gonna try that!!

Absolutely fabulous soup! Just made it and it tastes great (just used half the amount of the noodles and flour slurry, otherwise it would be too thick). I'd share a picture but don't know how. 😁

I love how you take us through the preparation and cooking and explain what you do and why.

Will definitely check out your other videos. 👌

Hello and happy ramadan. We have a similar recipe in Turkey. I wanna try your recipe just have a concern about adding flour and water mixture. Is there a raw flour taste at the end? How about adding flour after meat and onion mix well cooked and stirring flour a bit in the oil left. Later add tomatoes and other ingredients

Always disturbs me seeing plain butter being used for high heat searing. I guess all the warnings I've read about how easily butter burns are overexaggerated
