  1. Americans used to do the same thing we know how to open a can with a knife, the difference! We have improved or lives by not staying backwards. Africa has gold and diamonds, yet they Don know what to do with them, that's why the world can come in and take all you resources from you. We are not spoiled we just work darm hard, so when things make life easier we accept. Like you using a blender instead of chopping things by hand anymore. Just saying

  2. 😊 some of us really are but those of us like
myself have parents from the country and my pop taught me how to use a knife to
open a can as well, so when that can opener no longer works I'm getting that knife. Thank you for showing your recipe making this tonight with bake fish umm

  3. This is the recipe I've been looking for ! Thank you! I stayed two weeks in Liberia at a Guest House close to the American Embassy, and we had this lady chef called Mama Jeryl…She fed us SO goooooD!
I'm Nigerian and I'm back home, but I still remember thr taste of the pepper sauce and Corn Bread I had IN Liberia . Mama Jeryl had made me a jar of pepper sauce to take home with me and told me how to make some, but now my stash is all gone and I forgot the recipe. I saw many videos of Liberian Pepper Sauce online, but this one comes the closest to what that sweet lady taught me. Thank you so much!

Im trying this ASAP. New subscription!

  4. I don’t think we’re spoiled in America, we just do a good job finding ways to do things easier or more efficient. I’m Ghanaian /Haitian born and raised in America ; I sometimes feel triggered when my own fam who don’t live in America make these comments

  5. Y'all take everything so serious & literal. Damn! Y'all annoying ASF! Y'all know EXACTLY what she meant & how she meant it. EVERYTHING is not an explanatory thesis statement.

Duhh of course there are can openers in Africa, but most don't use them due to choice, habit or money. As in is this playing or stupidity you ppl r doing in this comment section just railing on the poor woman for nothing.

She's showing you how to make pepper sauce her way & you ppl r discussing knife & can opener & being spoiled. If the spoiling is not for you why the frustration biko. As in what kind of nonsense is this with human beings sef. Everything just argument. Las Las una go dey alright. She said what she said. Cry ooo.

  6. You have recipes to pass on to yours kids. 2ndlly do not HATE ON PROGRESS…that was so ignorant to say she must be young. I guess she thinks no one has used a knife to open a can. It's like me saying Africans are so primitive…the US has indoor showers.

  7. im a born african american and i have been opening my cans like that for years even if i have a can opener..much faster for me. to let you know majority of americans season food to taste and by eye. reason for measurements is for health reasons and those trying to maintain a healthy weight also..but i love how you open that can sis!!lol😊

  8. Me: Wondering if I have a can opener…doesn't have a can opener….looks at knife…hops in car goes to 99 cent store…buys a two pack can opener for 99 cents…comes back home…continues watching video with no intention on making this hot ass recipe…
