  1. From the deep of the southern part of the USA with a French origin, I like jambalaya. You add the meats after the rice is cooked. But, I like when the rice cooks along with the meats. Like this, the meat flavor gets into the whole dish. However, I add your sense of humor and your recipe to give you a big A+. Thank you for posting it. 👍👍👍

  4. i made this yesterday for my cousin and gave him one dish to try but in the evening when I come to the pot he had eaten the lot. I had to make another trip to the super market again

  5. Jamabalaya rice originates from Louisiana with Cajun and The African enslaved ppl who created it. From the mix of cultures. It's name itself is Jambon which means ham in French and aya which means rice in one of the countries in West Africa. It has influences from Spanish, French, West Africa. It share some similarities like paella but, its not the same.
