  1. Correction: zomkom is not hausa word. Zomkom is Frafra language. Frafras are found in Bolga, the Upper East Region of Ghana. Zom means millet powder and kom means water in Frafra language. The two words come together to mean millet powder water zomkom. It has nothing to do with Hausa.

  2. Hello. Nice recipe. I’d like to ask a question. After fermenting the zoom koom overnight, would the thick paste that settles beneath the bowl develop any unpleasant smell due to the fermentation ? x.o
