Hi question lemon juice can i used processed?
You are f$ck!ng amazing
Can use water and 3 parts sour cream
Used lemon juice didn't do anything. Absolute waste of milk go to the store
Can you strain it
Milk -> heat -> add starter curd in mild hot condition or buttermilk or lemon juice Set for 8+ hours -> churn the thick curd with the wood churner for 20 minutes or less, add water 1:3 or 1:4 100ml curd:300ml water, step by step add 100ml water curn for 2 minutes then add water curn, then add water churn each time 100ml water. -> finally the butter will separate from the curd, remove the butter, the rest is buttermilk.😊 Add some ginger, cumin + Coriander leaves + Mint + black pepper. Enjoy refreshing energetic buttermilk 😊😊😊
No chilli or onion or tomato or potato it will make poison or crazy.
Is apple cider vinegar acceptable for this?
instructions not clear i made cheese.
If you can wait a day, just put a few Tbsps of buttermilk into a quart or a gallon of milk, put the cap back on, shake it once or twice, and leave it out, maybe on a pantry or closet shelf, 'til next day. That'll be buttermilk.
ah ah ah aiyo Indians were using buttermilk since ages west got up now.🤣🤣🤣. There is no food without buttermilk.
This is NOT buttermilk. Id call it acid milk. To make actual buttermilk, youd need some "mother" just like sourdough bread starter. Buy buttermilk frim the store. Right before it runs out, refill it with while milk and leave it at riom temperature to ferment. Please do not make vinegar milk, it is not the same thing at all. You will ruin your food.
Why on earth all these people that teaches how to make recipes take so long to get to the point.Thank you for your quick recipe your awsum.
Can you make it with evaporated milk?
This recipe, in fact, almost none of the recipes I saw mention that this WILL NOT WORK if your milk is cold! Let your milk sit out or microwave it until it's room temperature. One cup was perfect for me after 30 seconds in the microwave. It felt hot on top, but once I stirred it, the temperature was just right. I added vinegar and immediately saw it start to curdle! Hope this helps someone!
I personally have found that lemon juice works better than vinegar, and faster.
Why is it called buttermilk if there's no butter?
To get your homemade fried chicken juicy you need butter milk and pickle juice

Doesn’t matter what type of milk? Because I seen other ones use the whole milk.
