  1. Please can someone answer this cause I can’t find the answer anywhere! Can/do you use the central part of the flower? I ordered some dried blue lotus and it wasn’t just the petals, they came in their full forms but the middle bit of the flower is hard and I’m not sure if I’m supposed to use it?!

  2. I brewed some mead with blue lotus once, I didn't dose it very hard but it worked alright. I'd actually bought it off Amazon just because it was a blue-coloured flower and I've been experimenting with brewing a naturally blue drink (but they keep coming out purple!) and found out reading the label after I received it and doing some Googling that it was psychoactive.

Also 1 Monate. Mal schauen was es sich ergibt.πŸ€ͺ

  4. Substances like psychedelics when administered temporarily and in the minimum and safe dose can save life (prevent suicide), yet..long term all of them are NOT the answer (solution to the problem). self honesty, emotional and spiritual healing (done correctly) produce safe and lasting results..health happiness, inner peace

  5. what kind of reactions do you get from taking it as i bought some and smoked it and i have to be honest i didnt feel a thing from it i even smoked two spliff sized rolls and didnt feel nothing, I heared that the more it builds up in the system the better but i did this over a week period before i ran out (waiting for new batch to come in) and again i felt nothing

  6. I meen its alot better to use a alcohol like vodka or a strong spirit as it keeps better and make a tincture that way, red wine when opened and exposed to oxygen has a very short shelf life and after a week or so it will basically turn into a vinegar, which can release the chemical yes but will taste discusting. Also i tried this myself, albeit i didnt leave it past 4 days because i didnt eant the red wine to spoil and all i get was drunk on very discusting tasting mix of blue lotus and red wine

  7. Old video and not my typical viewing, but I watched a documentary on Egyptian use of blue lotus a few days ago, so here I am. I believe that the compound is apomorphine (and nuciferine), which are non water soluble alkaloids (so the ethanol is what is leeching the alkaloids out). Apomorphine in small doses acts as a block for presynaptic dopamine receptors, but in slightly higher doses acts as if it were dopamine on the postsynaptic receptors. Nuciferine is a dopamine blocker. The effect of this combination is that you have an excess amount of free dopamine not bound by the receptors in the brain which can cause, depending on how much, euphoria, high sex drive and hallucinations to more severe effects like aggression, diminished impulse control, seizures, heart arrhythmia and death. So if you're going to use it, definitely consider asking your Healthcare provider if it's safe for you given your medical history – they're not going to judge you for it and it's important that they know what you are taking, even naturally occurring things like blue lotus, so that they know if any other medications are unsafe for you as a result. Also it's illegal in a few countries and Louisiana, and is prohibited for use by US military personnel

  8. Love how Lotus makes your face glow and she beautifully 😘. I tried blue Lotus in capsule forms and it works and all the colors became more vivid and I felt more Present. Haven't tried the lotus wind but I'm curious of anyone has made lotus muffins.

  9. The ancient Egyptian recipe does include Nymphaea caerulea indeed (blue lotus, blue water lily, sacred lily of the Nile). What you're holding unfortunately is probably N. capensis or colorata. The intensity of the colour is a detail you want to be looking for in N. caerulea. (It's basically sky blue tipped petals, certainly not full violet when dried.) With the ones in the video you're most likely going to get a nice flavor wine, with some enhanced euphoric or relaxing effects. No pink elehants or induced wild orgies I'm afraid…at least not because of this wine. πŸ˜‰

  10. Dried petals from true Nymphaea caerulea are not available in the general trade. Each Nymphaea caerulea plant produces in the peak season one to three flowers only – per week! Thus what you are sold on the web is a much cheaper substitute: dried petals from the much more floriferous Nymphaea colorata. Just like the ones in your cup. Dried petals of real Nymphaea caerulea never have this intense violet color with a yellow base, but they are very light blue fading to white at the base. Nymphaea colorata also contains some psychoactive alkaloids, yet so do all Nymphaea species by the way. Only in a lower concentration than Nymphaea caerulea. There is an excellent video on YouTube how to distinguish true Nymphaea caerulea from fake ones. Just search for Blue Water Lily Identification | Nymphaea caerulea.

  11. Hi, I loved the video but since I can't drink alcohol due to some medication,is there anything else I can use instead in order to have the same effect? Thanks
