It is also an Efik soup but we do not make it black.
It's called Abak soup

Always boil your Kpomo separately and throw away the water before you use it to cook because Kpomo smells very bad at times.
Very nice but I do add ginger turmeric garlic onion, to mine hope is hygienic for pregnant woman pls
The fish looks uncooked
Awori people called it EWE INA, they cook it for their newly born children male 9 days and 7 days for females just for drinking. It prevent children from stomach ache.
God bless you my sister for bringing our delicious soup out. Please come and collect some cassava flour (pupuru) in Ikale language from ondo state. I just got a carton of pupuru on Monday. You're tempting me with this soup now. Pupuru or pounded yam or pupuru is the best swallow.
No crayfish in this soup?
Very nice
Firstly thank you for bringing 'Marugbo' soup to the consciousness of our people. This is the indigenous food of the Ikales in Yoruba land and other people from the Ondo state waterside but those are not the leaves we use aside from the mint leaf (Effirin). The fact is, you can blend any mixture of greens to give you the same result and it is super good for kids who don't like taking vegetables. Kudos to you!
Wow,this is nice.although it’s different from the marugbo soup I know which is made with marugbo.but I will certainly try this
Even the leaves is not smooth, and stop smacking your mouth is so annoying 😏😏
Do I wash the bitter leaves before grinding
This looks yummy!!
But just asking Sis! Do you have sweet in your mouth when doing the voice over? The smacking was too much 😮 just my observation.
YOU CAN ADD TUMERIC TOO…NICE VIDEO
I'll have to hold on till I find out what orima is.
When you use starch on it swears you will bite your hands😉🤪
