HOW TO MAKE AUTHENTIC FISHERMAN SOUP/RIVER'S NATIVE SOUP /NATIVE SOUP RECIPE/IFY'S KITCHEN
Nothing quite blows your mind as much as the combination of Fisherman soup and some hot fluffy pounded yam. Fisherman soup (also called Native soup) is popular in the South South zone of Nigeria and everyone loves it. I call Fisherman’s soup a seafood lover’s delight as it is filled with a variety of seafood. When making this soup no sea food…

Hey friends, thank you all so much for watching this video. remember to share it with your family and friends so that they too can learn how to make this amazing soup. lastly please subscribe and ring that bell. Thanks.
Nice attempt. I'm just a bit skeptical on the hygiene part though. Making a food video with jewelries on your fingers is kind of conflicting, just my thought though. But if we can do away with it next time, very good!
Thanks for this beautiful video
Pls, can I use dry oziza leave??
What is ofo
Please if you go to market is it Ofo you will tell them you want to buy or thickener?
What can I use as a substitute for ofor ground? We don't have it here in the Philippines. Thank you.
Very nice keep it up
I will try it, it is looking very yummy ❤
I want to do it without red oil
Well done my sis u nail it.
Very learnable and understandable ❤
Is fisherman soup same things as native soup?
Interesting
Almost like 'Ofe Owerri" . The difference is the thickener and vegetables
What did you add after the palm(red) oil?
Please what's ofor ?
What's Ofo please?
Foodies and spice has the original kalabari/okrika native soup. She has other versions too that you can try if you want to try something close or similar.
The problem in this country is that we like spoiling the origin of other tribs. Be sure when you post something or indicate that its your own version. this isnt rivers native soup chef ifey.
Welldone sis
Pls what is the difference between fisherman soup and oha soup
Beautiful video
Not speaking to you in particular but I am not sure where the craze of calling meat, stockfish etc protein
I know the real owners (kalabari's) use cocoyam as thickener but was delighted to swap it with ofo thickener
thanks ify kitchen ❤❤❤
Please what is ngulu?
Lovely but I feel like the Crab 🦀 is still fresh.
If I may ask what is the ofor powder made of/from?
I didn’t see okra in your ingredients,is it that it’s optional
Must I add that Mgolo while making the soup? Can't I replace it with snails?
Trying this! Curious though, why is the Offor white? The ones in my area are yellow. Palm oil perhaps?
Does anyone know the English name of Ngolo?
Thank you ❤❤ I followed your steps. I am eating mine now ❤
Very good
Snails should be precooked sperately from fish and crabs because of their cooking time
Everyone is so creative these days, we the rivers people try to say, wrong recipes but randoms just spit fire in your face
If you must cook a native delicacy? Remember to respect the culture of the people by making it exactly how they make it
Going forward you can now make another video upgrading to whatever you might want to add like you did in this video, but well done…
I enjoyed watching i going to make my own oo❤❤❤
Please cut off the sharp mouth of the crab..Rich soup

GOLD TO YOUR LOVING
HUSBAND. GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY IN JESUS HOLY NAME AMEN 🙏
Okay this was really helpful even when my network went bad during my cooking ( it happens to be my first time making the soup ) it came out really nice .
Nice. just to add that the original traditional thickener is coco yam, however, depending on what you have available, people substitute with ofor or achie. note that the taste is unique to the thickener
I LOVE your videos. So easy to follow can’t wait to surprise my partner (he’s from PH) with this for his bday
Thanks for this video
