what about the volume of air we take in per minute? Dr Leah Lagos talks about number of breaths, but doesn't specify how much air you're ventilating per breath or per minute.
the definition of hyperventilation is: breathing more volume of air per minute than tidal (baseline) breathing. we don't want to hyperventilate in those 5 to 6.5 breaths per minute. So how do we know we're just bretahing in enough volume of air, or how do we avoid breathing in too much air?
I'm missing a connection with air volume in this talk.
I have been doing the breathing for about 10 days. My breathing rate last night was 11. Is that too low?
Chris asked how to do the practise.. and the guest talked and talked and talked and said nothing. Why so secretive? gross
Informative but zero life hacks or actionable advice given. Would not recommend 3/10
Thank you Dr. Lagos!
Tibetan Buddhist monks say, “hold my beer“ 😂
when you say – ' when we were reptiles ' – you were lost and you are lost – we were never reptiles – God created us and them separately – the entire creation happened in 6 days
–
the bible also predicted and foretold of the end of the world that involved a world wide war – with most everyone against israel –
– the jews were scattered away from their land ( israel ) in the year ad 70 – and they did not return until 1948 – do you understand that God is working everything according to His good pleasure and these things will happen as He told us ?
– probably not – because you think you came from an animal
Couldn't get into this one for some reason. Glad others could though.
This conversation was not only engaging but also filled with valuable insights that were both thought-provoking and educational! Dr. Lagos brings a wealth of knowledge to the table—thanks for the great listen!
Physiologically gifted here – so fascinating. I always felt like my nervous system reacted more than others. I wonder if my hrv is low when I feel stuck
I need to investigate this more, fascinating guest.

Wonderful! Thankful to Dr. Lagos. I loved her book, Heart, Breath, Mind.
Love this! I’m three days in and notice improvements already. I’m a seasoned Wim Hof method practitioner but this is a great hack for HRV.
