So I have a drop fade but i want a low taper. my hair abt 4 inch long rn and I can't decide if I should just restart or grow out my undercut, what should i do…. PS my hair is prolly damaged since I started taking care of it pretty late into my journey. I did things like dry detangling and my afro hair getting on my nerves lol😭
Crazy how I’m in the same position brahh this blows
thought ths was yourrage in that first pic on the thumbnail
i'm assuming its should be the same process for growing out your front taper but I feel like my front taper growing mad slow compared to my sides, is that normal? or am i just not taking good enough care of my hair?

WHAT U CALL THE BRAIDS U GOT
Underrated af
Almost at month 5 and I feel like I got no progress 😭 my hair long but thin so it doesn’t really cover my sides unless it’s a twist out. Any tips?
I didn't hide. I just didn't care 😂. It's grown out and maybe this summer that undercut can get close to touching my shoulders.
Just over 4 months growing out my Mohawk cut. Love watching other ppls journeys to keep me motivated ❤
Crazy journey! Is there a particular product you like to use for putting in two strand twists? I have 3C hair and I’m thinking that’s what I’ll do to hide my undercut for a while. I’m only 2 weeks in 😤
Bro please tell me what you did to deal with the pain when you did your first protective style. I did Pop Smoke braids after growing out my high top for like 5 months and my scalp literally feels like it’s bleeding rn
Hey Tarik, just wanted to know what’s the point of growing an undercut when your hair is already that long
Are u jamaican
Skytop of doom
It’s so crazy because I gave myself an undercut because I liked the way it looked on you and then boom you started growing your sides. Now my undercut is def low in the back but I have a tapered hairline and above beard lineup is gone too. I kinda like the look but I do miss the possibility of having the full head of hair rather though it does get full. I think I need to wait till my hair is longer because the cut does allow me to have a more defined hairline and still shape up my beard yet having a clean look on top…hmm we’ll see
I've been growing my sides out since November of last year. I got to wait another three months to even start the starter locing process on my undercut 😂.
I start growing my beard about 4 months ago, I have one side that’s not fully connected.. the other is just about connected but not as thick as the other side, should I use minoxidil or give it 6-8 months or start minoxidil now ?
whats ur hair type
its best to start with a taper, like a low or a mid. when i cut my dread i was with a high fade (lmfao they fucked me up) but idk how my side went back so fast to a low taper, now im on full head 4b with a possibility of curls (Yeah i love myself) 6 cornrows i feel like nipsey hussle Yeah i love me Yeah, i love me so much Yeah
Gonna be SO MUCH easier to style/hide now that it’s longer. I’m growing out the undercut too and hiding it the same way you are. Keep it up bro 💪🏽
Hey, I recently got a low taper fade a week ago and I got my sides trimmed just a lil due to split ends. I feel like my sides are growing slow. Any tips?
Your hair looks cute, good for you. I just chopped mine off after growing it out the whole COVID pandemic because the closed down all the barbershops. Now I'm 360 wavin
Bro I'm almost 11 months in
