I Double Audited these Courses for Free
Some of the courses I took in 2023 by financial aid but i didn’t finish 'em then. Now, I've finished 80% of one course. But the remaining 20% assignments are locked and I need to upgrade my plan to complete 'em.
That's why I am not able to finish 'em. Now can someone assist me how I can finish 'em and get the certificate?
While i was having 100% financial aid, i couldnt get my certificate because it required a paid exam… why is that? Did i do something wrong?

Hello, I would like to ask you about some doubts I have. Can I complete an entire course with limited access and then apply for financial aid to get the certificate, or will my progress not be saved? Also, can I get a certification that requires completing several courses by applying for financial aid one by one until I finish them all? By completing them this way, can I obtain the professional certificate? Sorry for so many questions.

I just finished the Google IT Support Professional Certificate, which is five courses. I used financial aid for all five courses, and I received two for free, and three for 12.75 (I think). Just a warning about auditing. You can audit the first lesson of the first module (you can't take the exams or do any projects) before you're prompted to pay, but once you do that, you can no longer apply for financial aid. You'll have to unenroll (go to "my learning" and click the three dots on the course and you'll see "unenroll") first, then apply for financial aid. It really does take about two weeks, so plan accordingly.
Now, if you want to pay for Coursera Plus for 60.00 a month thinking it'll be cheaper go ahead, but just make sure to do the math first. If you're doing one of the Google certs, it's going to take longer than a month, unless you cheat or work day and night. They also may give you free courses. I told them I could only pay 10.00, and they gave me the courses for 12.75.
This doesn't work, I just completed the Google Cyber course in 6 days in the free trial and it didn't work and made me pay before I got the certificate.
It's no longer completely free, now they've been discounted

What if i ve already started the free trial? Obviously I think I should cancel since its 40 dollars a month, but maybe its better to cancel than -> audit the course -> study the whole thing than -> try to get the discount. Thanks for the video either way 😊

I received an email from Coursera specifying a fee for each course, although I have informed them of my intention to proceed without payment for any course I wish to take. A heads-up for people: having to pay "only" 25% for each course is often more expensive than paying 1-2 months full price for the full cert.
