  2. LinkedIN pro edition was great years ago as you needed it to apply for roles. Now everyone has access to it. I avoided Dice and just used LinkedIN with a pro subscription just so I can message the hR manager and apply with a small selection

  3. we'll see if anybody reads this. This is how i used to source companies, and especially those who do tech research.

The small business administration is a government organization that manages the funding of projects in the United States that are completed by small businesses. this includes sbir and sttr research and technology transfer grants. all sba grants that are awarded, require a public listing in order to ensure that preferential treatment was not given for that award. find the tech sector that you are interested in and it's overlap with these publicly listed grants and you're given a list of companies that are not only working in government tech but also definitionally funded. you can see how long their funding is. you can see they're funding history. you can see their funding sources.

darpa, nsf, nsa, doe, dod, nih

All sorts of small businesses are funded through these programs.

  4. I got my current job last year when my old CEO flipped his shit and did RTO and slashing benefits. I now work a 4 day workweek and get paid more. How?…specialty job board. I focused on the 4 day work week, found a small company where I could make a big difference, and it worked out.

  5. As salam anleykoum please pray for me. I graduate for 6 months now and no jobs. I have been applying a lot and nothing. I work retail because I have no choice and bills to pay. My back hurt a lot. This job makes me depressed as I don’t like facing interactions with customers and it’s so much demanding physically. Please help me and pray for me. May Allah gives me good health and strength. May Allah helps me find a good job soon InshaAllah. Thank you!🙏🏽

  6. But do recruiters actually actively scout these boards? Are the jobs posted actually new jobs or leaching off job posts from other boards? Are these recruiters from America of offshore? Dice is filled with offshore recruiters

  7. DICE is crap. They post false information. I applied for several jobs that said they were local to me with hybrid or even remote roles. I got a call from them and they said the role was in a completely different state and on-site only. Pay was 20% or more less than advertised. They wanted me to relocate my family for a $50k/year job. No thanks.

  8. Keep in mind that to join clearancejobs you need all three of the following:

    – A valid and current clearance
    – Having held a position in the previous two years in which you used such clearance
    – Be a US citizen

So even if you are a US citizen, you won't be able to just join and get a company to hire you and sponsor your clearance.
