Very useful! My polygel dual forms always give me a coffin shape when I try to keep my nail short. I always wondered how to shape them into almonds without too much filling. Thanks!
Yesssss thankyou lol I ended up clipping mines and just leaving them coffin 😭 because I couldn’t think how to shape them back lol😅 it’s so easy now that I’ve seen this!!!
I file against the side wall so 180 degrees then create a 30° angle and then finally a 45° angle then lightly finish by rounding the tip. I mainly try to file along the sides and almost under the tip. To maintain the apex and side integrity.

Longer or shorter on the tape I'mma show you how to do that now that my notes app is on I'm gonna clip it like half way now it's a coffee shake we don't want that so what I'm gonna do is Mark the sides to show you guys so I know exactly where to clip when I want to break my game now you can see where I was supposed to be flipping so that's exactly what I'm gonna do reduce the sides off as you can see our Amish shape is already coming together after I clip off the end I'm just gonna file a little bit so it's a bit more smoother and that's basically it I hope this tutorial was useful by the way all the products that I use in this video are from my shop it's called an acrylics and at the available link in bio ok my now I got you Pooh key look no further.
