  1. I’m sorry this is not Algerian couscous in any way shape or form. You need to steam the couscous and that’s not the correct sauce to go with it… there are many videos you can watch online to learn how to make Algerian couscous.

  2. Never in my life have I seen peppers and tomatoes on top of couscous and veggies cut in this way. This is not the Algerian way this is just your way

  4. C'est une des multiples versions de couscous en tous cas ici, dans l'Algerois, le couscous est arrosé de sauce blanche avec de la viande de mouton, des courgettes et des navets. Ça c'est le couscous qu'on sert dans les réceptions et les fêtes en tout genre. Bien sûr il y a le couscous sauce rouge (paprika), il est décliné comme je l'ai dit en une multitudes de recettes que cela soit à l'est, à l'ouest, ou au sud du pays.

  5. sorry but it has to be said. i’m algerian and i am acc very patriotic but can the algerians in this comment section not get too big headed because couscous is a north african traditional dish. it’s neither algerians nor moroccans it belongs to both so please stop fighting

  6. harissa is tunisian but Moroccans say it's moroccan , couscous is algerian moroccans say it's morrocan tajin is moroccan and nooobody ever said tajin is algerian nor tunisian . rai literally made by algerian singers in algerian but moroccans say it's moroccan , even Chaabi el Aasmi (music genre created in the capital of Algeria cause they have special dialect) suddenly became moroccan .

  7. scary watching how the onion was cut, tips first for the cutting board wet a towel or paper towel and place under it, wont slide as much. Tip 2 cut the onion in half then place the flat side down so it does not move on you when you cut it up. I was waiting for a finger to be added as the meat on this one.
