5 years later and all of these items are still relevant.
Weather is pretty shitty where I live so a trench coat or a parka is my go to instead of the trucker jacket. I also only wear light colored clothing in the summertime so no khaki chinos for me. Black jeans also instead of the regular blues since most my shoes are black. Lighter colour shoes just get destroyed out there 😂 Great picks though for normal countries with decent weather.

The problem with this wardrobe is that some of the pieces can't be worn together, since they share the same color (Navy). For example:
– navy blazer can't be worn with any of the following: navy pants (jeans or chinos), navy sweater, navy polo.
That's a lot of navy!

Good stuff. Agree with the focus on versatility. Getting multiple uses out of single items like the navy blazer and white OCBD.

Of the 7 videos I've watched (and loved), this is the first one where I've been in disagreement with. Anyone who's tall but not big understands the challenge of finding clothes that fit. Clothing manufacturers that give up on poor saps like me will default to only making Navy stuff instead of anything interesting. I also did my fair share of shopping in thrift stores — and that's even more of a guarantee that I'd get Navy. At this point in my life — unless it's denim — I'd rather get stabbed than wear anything Navy LOL. Same with tan. I see those two colors and I much more readily think 'Lazy' than 'minimalist'

I live in Cancun. Here it’s summer year round, how can you build a wardrobe around shorts? Yes some times I use pants or long sleeves, but it’s only when I go to the office. Sometimes I want to go out for a nice dinner at a fancy restaurant and find it tough to dress up shorts. Also short sleeve shirts are tough to find, specially fresh ones.
