  1. Please don’t go to singapore , they just want medical labours and not the talent .
You cannot be consultant or fully registered doctor unless you have local medical degree .

They just fool you in name of registration as well as smc .

Conditional registration is a gimmik .

There are doctors working for 20 yrs at same post .

So please dont give false Ideas

Singapore is the country where if you want to work , first you need to learn how to put people down , then step on their head and shine and show the superior see how talented I am and this foreign talent is waste .

Singapore is good for tourism , come stay see enjoy and get lost

  2. After completing MRCGP in the UK and getting the CCT, how to practice in Singapore as a Family Med physician? It's so fcking confusing on the SMC website. Do I need the job first?

  3. Hi dr, I'm from malaysia. I'm completing my housemanship in few months. I would like to continue my residency in singapore. Can you please briefly explain what's the process. I'm aspire to specialise in ENT department. However sadly, I can't able to float/residency in the department I want due to lack of manpower in major departments(internal med/surgical) . I would really appreciate if I get a whole picture of it. Thank you Dr ❤

  4. OMG, this is the explanation I've been looking for from years! Thank you so much sharing this, it helps a lot compared to only reading from SMC website! I have finished my medschool, but I haven't applied to any residency, and I'm open to try any route. I wonder if taking M.Med in SG were better or directly taking MRCP or other equivalent exam were worth to try to get the conditional registration?

  5. So basically if i don't have basic medical degrees and PG degree from the recognised colleges, there is no other way to practice medicine in Singapore as a full time doctor?
