  1. never knew the seeds of the serpant not only went to kill, steal and destroy but some stayed behind to further steal, kill, destroy and still plundering today

  2. Hehehe, I mean itvstarted like „oh that sounds nice, good way to go“ and turned then into „well….yeah how dare I was to believe… just Africa at its best….“

  3. As a portuguese guy, i would like to ask forgiveness from angolans. Our shitty politicians allowed your shitty politicians. Fuck mario soares.

  4. All this bs would end if there was capital punishment for corruption but that won’t happen since the most corrupt people (politicians) are the ones that can enact such laws.

  5. Zaire smuggling weapons into UNITA was possibly the cause of the worst African Air disaster in history. In 1996, an overloaded AN-32 took off from Kinshasa's N'dolo airport but crashed into a market place, killing at least 370 people and injuring hundreds more. President Mobutu orchestrated the weapons smuggling at the time.

  6. A black majority country is by far the best place to live if you're a successful black. A rich country is by far the best place to live if you're a struggling black.

  7. Its always funny to me when colonists nations and people from colonists nations take on the whistle-blower role and cast themselves as the good guys. Looking down on African leaders like they themselves are holy creatures.

  8. please be clear and add that france, the usa, denmark, and other world powers have crippled african nations by taking their resources and just don't say african nations cripple their own nations. both and…

  9. Portugal and the EU laundred the money from Angola.
I wonder why the media or justice do not bring these corrupt leaders from the EU to court…so much for the EU democracy….Putin is the corrupt and mean guy😂😂😂😂

  10. Is this not exactly what happened and still do everyday worldwide amongst ultra rich families and politicians and government contracts? How come all of them is not charged and investigated and assets freezed?

  11. Blame the resource curse on the WESTERN banks, governments, & financial houses that launder & invest the stolen money. They wouldn't be rich without these institutions' backing.

  12. Rewatching this one it strikes me again how the Dos Santos family and many of the other top politicians have Portuguese last names, and many of the signs shown are in Portuguese as well. It is deeply interesting to me how each former colony engages with the history and culture of the countries that plundered them for decades and centuries. I hope Angola's future is bright for its everyday people, not just its elites.

  13. De Santos doesn't really act any differently than any other capitalist lmao very little difference between her an Musk or her any and any other oil capitalist. And the resource curse is very silly. Its local Comprador acting on behalf of international Capital
