  1. Tbh it was only don jazzy that could ink that influence. Insteado f us losing our acts to Warner (like burna) or Sony (Wizkid), why not ink a deal w Nigerian labels (well really just Mavins) and bridge the gap. The way in which Latin Music is a GIANT in the western market, i think this is what Don Jazzy is trying to do. Even beyonce wanted that in the western space HENCE that lion king album (it wasnt even the soundtrack, she made that out of her own interest and money)

  2. Don Jazzy is making a satanic merger with the universal music label satanic cult. As a servant of Satan and having children in the marine kingdom with Mami water, Don Jazzy is Really invested in his mission in derailing the young African youths

  3. If own nothing and be happy was a person, it'll be the rich west African man. How do you build something from scratch and willingly give it to your enemies to destroy? When will we realize that the white man will NEVER be in our best interest? We have 54 countries on our continent and blacks spend more on all commodities than any race in the world. Why do we feel like we need America? 🙃

  4. Yo, bro your videos are informative and good but the antics and over edits get in the way in my opinion. Not saying you shouldn’t be able to make jokes or fun quippy edits but I think it’s over done. Keep making great videos tho

  5. Its a welcome development. Afrobeat is in safe hands. There are other great record labels pushing the genre. I think this is a new dawn for Afro beats. Don Jazzy will still be in the operational ventures just like Ratcliffe's deal with manutd.

  6. Watched a couple of your videos and your content is well scripted in comparison to western youtubers which is really awesome. Hoped to see you gunner more subscribers but now is really slow. I think you should be simple in your delivery using few add-ons considering you use exact same sound effects in all your videos. Just tone it down and be more you which is unique.

  7. Pls if you know nothing about music lock yourself inside the closet and keep quiet. Every single artist in Nigeria that is big were all signed to a foreign label apart from Mavin. Now he waited and outsmarted the US by working independently for a long time and waited for that offer and he successfully got a lump sum of a joint business venture. What exactly do mean by it would affect Afrobeats ?

  8. They didn't purchase a major stake, it was a MAJORITY stake. UMG are the majority owner now therefore have the controlling stake and are the controlling owner now.
P.S. there were to many cutaways/graphics on this. It was hard to keep up with your narrative/story telling.

  9. You getting it wrong 😑 TikTok brow because of Afro beat

You really don’t knw much abt Afro beats 😅

You sometimes do the right topics but say the wrong headline 😊

    But you good 👍🏾 bro

You can nave knw pass the OG of Afro beats 🎧 ❤

  10. As long as Don Jazzy remains in control of the creative aspect, while the foreign label handles distribution, then all might go well. Afrobeat is a culture, a way of life, you have to be Nigerian/African to understand it. Oyibo getting too creatively involved wont augur well for the genre imo
