  1. https://youtu.be/TbddAp_Ipec?t=29 you cant say that European and American airline companies serve a more affluent customer base than Singapore Airlines and then follow up with an example of Ryanair having a larger market cap. As a matter of fact, Singapore Airlines serves arguably the most affluent customer base just based off the cost of ticket prices.

  2. Singapore Airlines is an ultra luxury brand. They are in the same category as the Four Seasons and Ritz Carlton, and they are very exclusive. These brands cater to a small demographic of very affluent clientele and thus why they operate on a smaller and intimate scale. These brands are often more expensive as well. Just look at mid-market companies like Ryan Air and the Hilton for example. They are cheap and easily accessible to a much larger demographic.

  3. The plural of aircraft is simply aircraft, no "s". At the rate SIA is going, it will continue to be the world's best airline and certainly will be the biggest one day. The middle east airlines improved much because they started by employing SIA top management staff. The success of SIA is mainly due to one man. Lee Kuan Yew. He was very much involved in running the airline and reducing the power of the pilots union so there were no strikes to inconvenient passengers. When the airline first started, Ian Batey played a great part in its branding. SIA was the only airline that jointly operated the Concorde with British Airways. SIA indeed is a great way to fly.

  4. I have always loved my experience with SQ, especially with the long-haul flights. I’ve had the chance to travel the world due to work and I can say there really is a big difference in the warmth and service of Asian airlines in general (SQ, ANA, PAL, CX, Thai, etc.) as compared to Western ones. SQ really goes the extra mile even in their economy class.
