  1. How is it a shock to see Portuguese in the country, you were expecting French or English? The Portuguese Dominated the world in Navigation and world trade before any other European nation. The First World Empire. All others followed suit.

  2. This guy is why Americans have a bad rap around the world. You didn't know Mozambique was a Portuguese colony UNTIL you arrived? Good God man. You obviously have more money than brains and it shows.

  3. Yes a short history of colonialism. Poor African people. They were and are forced to speak European languages such as English, French, Portegise as official language. When will you wake up and see your might, Africa ?

  4. Mozambique was part of Portugal until 1974.
Like Angola, Cabo Verde, Timor, Guiné Bissau, São Tomé e Príncipe.
They was our ultramarine colonies, since circa 1450/1500. So, Portuguese is the principal idiom there.
We deliver all for free, and with many young deaths unfortunally ( 1961-1974 was our Vietname – Guerra Colonial ).

  5. i dont care i like the colonaziation-speaking countries more not the original country even spanish is more common and reconizable in south america then europa and portuguese rather brazil then portugal

  6. Hi Drew,
You should really, when possible, visit one of the provinces in the center or north – the beaches, seafood, and people will amaze you even further!

Sending love back to the world from Mozambique! 💜🇲🇿
