  1. Not difficult to figure out. Any criminal that is so high up has to be backed by some government entity. The Golden Triangle has Chinese backing just like how the Mexican cartels have US backings.

  2. The patrol soldiers are crooked too. Don't get it twisted lol. Everybody is on the take and the movie plays on giving the illusion of "drug law enforcement" efforts.

  4. it's a giant industry… Thailand just broke up scam call centers in Mae Sot area — kinda far from the Golden Triangle… something like 10,000 detained workers being processed… rescued… maybe prosecution for some…
