How are did we get here as a country? The decadence in every sector is too much. We are talking about japa syndrome in the healthcare, what of our educational sectors especially the universities. The inflation, lack of infrastructure, poor enumeration and insecurity are the major reasons for migration. Our government need to rise up and deal with all these reasons. We keep dishing out policies which are not implemented.
52:36 Lies of course, if the cate here is so good, why are politicians leaving for medical care? 😂😂😂
48:35 What does he mean by retrained?
47:02 People work for 36 hours and more than 100hrs a week. So this 12hours he is talking about doesn't even represent reality. I wish it was 12hours. Unless he is trying to say that in place of the normal working hrs when not on call, which is typically 8hrs. But people have many calls in a week especially house officers.
I don't think the minister knows what is talking about.
Thank you so much Seun and the Hon. Health Minister…this's a topic well dealt with.
Seun has a way of asking raw and direct questions and attaching Maybe the bla bla bla will ask😂😂😂😀😂 kudos to seun
Pay your doctors well , simple.
Oh God, this country is seriously not in the business of building.
Where can I get the document of the bill or law or whatever? I really need it.
Tinunbu and or Health minister need to put the necessary medical resources and good and unfailing working pay package in place 1st before closing avenue for Japa DR. the policy and improvement can then entice the return of people back to the contraction. also show Nigerian that you guy would stop and make it effective not to go abroad for medication and ensure constant electricity and water.
why do entertainment allowance have to be paid to the politician after all other bogus allowance. Nigeria is a fraud, complete shamble
Nonsense! A lying system must be run by liars.Until all politicians at all levels earn far less than professionals, there cannot be any measure that will keep professionals in the country. When those who claimed to have have been employed by the citizenry turn themselves into wicked overlords dispensing palliatives to their employers while living royally on our commonwealth, then the employers have no choice but to distance themselves from their oppressors. Funds looted by politicians can upgrade our infrastructures in all sectors to the standards in the Western world, but for the wickedness of the political class ,it mustn't happen. The most wasteful royalties in the world are the Nigerian politicians basking in nepotism, corruption and impunity.
Just grammar but nothing specific and tangible
Good responses by the Coordinating Minister of H&SW. Please keep pushing. The Nigerian people really need a good health sector.
Big pay without security is useless
Well spoken. I see similarities in health care issues in Nigeria and my country of Canada
One Man Standing
A bunch of English and policy making. Absolute garbage 🗑. When will the Nigerian people see some action.
They place the cart before the horse.Instead of making efforts in building and equipping hospitals, they are stopping health workers from leaving. Confused people.
"let them go for the postgraduate training and come back…"
Okay…
But come back to what infrastructure?
Where doctors do surgery by light from a flashlight?😂😂
No, God will not magically "make it easy" for those affected by the floods..thats why ge made governments. What is the government doing???
Lol rhis one is talking about economics…ok now, lower the salaries and allowances of government officials and lawmakers to reflect this "economics" youre talikng about. You don't get to be selective with your brilliance.
But what do we see? 300% salary increase dor judiciary workers.
We truly are not serious just yet!
The Judiciary are getting 300% increase in there Salary. However the Doctor that allowed politics/ selfishness to suppress his Professional bound is shamelessly talking what does not make sense, tax outside the Country ; but our colleagues out there are accusing us that we are not being fair to our Children and Spouse.
Mr. Minister Sir, you will be alive to reap this your betrayal, I assure you and it shall affect your entire generation.
64 year old country has not solved the problem of 24/7 electricity…where do we even start?!
These guys simply don't want to tell the truth
"ethical recruitment"..".help us train more to replace those they're taking" Someone is clearly living in lala land.
Create decent working environment and generally livable environment in the country and see if people will still leave in the numbers they're leaving right now.
The minister using himself as an example for returning doesn't sit well with me… He has worked abroad for years and probably is of better financial standing than most of the local doctors or say a young doctor . Coming back is solely for investments because it's easier to invest in Nigeria in the health sector than abroad.
Dear Honourable Minister, thank you and well done. Gods Grace.
