  1. Its typical same story of these African leaders who have over stayed in power….they tend to forget they r mortal like any another & the position is meant to serve not to be served….they get delusional with power as they nolonger follow their countries constructions or they become the constitution & detach themselves from reality & its hard to bring them back…

  2. The USSR supported the worst people in Africa to create crisis and social division. Hundreds of thousands of the worst people went to the USSR and were trained to do terrible things under the banner of the communist war of liberation. The KGB taught them terrible things. The Soviet regime supplied them with millionaires of dollars and sent them back to Africa as Red terr& ori&ts. The horrors of Africa today are caused not only by a colonial system that could have been peacefully reformed, but by Soviet communist influence.

  3. Most congoleses do not want to talk about this but rather they like to play victims and blame their ruin onto kagame,i wish congolese would wake up and stop playing victims and build their country.the president they have now kisekedi is the same as mobutu.Lumumba was the only real one patriot they had unfortunately mobutu alongside belgians and americans killed Lumumbu.

  4. Amazing how the "West" was always willing to get involved and prop up a leader who was "anti communist" but was often a CRUEL dictator that abused his own people and was rampant with corruption..as long as it served their "goals"…no matter the desire of the people 😢

  5. Lumumba's response to the mutineers was the root of all evil. The politicization of the army was not only a way for him to get more power but as a result the exodus of whites because an army that's killing, looting and raping the whites will never have their confidence for protection. Lorsqu'1 famille blanche rétourner en Europe 3 familles Congolaise entrer en chomage.

  6. Say what you will, the country was much better back then, than now. Clean streets, national unity, no internal wars, no foreign wars, societal stability. Now just look at the place, a complete failure, since the end of Zaire.

  7. The story of DR. Congo is really touching and painful. After experiencing the cruelty of King Leopold of Belgium, they faced another form of brutality from their son. An endowed country whose blessing has been a nightmare. Thank you, Bisi for your wonderful documentaries.
