How Many Solar Panels To Run a Fridge/Freezer?

12 volt Fridge's are the only way to go when using solar

if i could, i would love to haved 4days stock of power, incase a storm is coming. if not, then i wont want get started solar energy..the shorter you get, the more damage you get.

102 I answered and said, "If I have found favor in thy sight, show further to me, thy servant, whether on the day of judgment the righteous will be able to intercede for the unrighteous or to entreat the Most High for them, 103 fathers for sons or sons for parents, brothers for brothers, relatives for their kinsmen, or friends for those who are most dear." 104 He answered me and said, "Since you have found favor in my sight, I will show you this also. The day of judgment is decisive and displays to all the seal of truth. I HAVE 6, 100 WATT PANELS ON MY SYSTEM. 60 AMP CHARGE CONTROLLER, 8, 100 AMP 12 VOLT LITHIUM BATTERIES AND 1500 WATT INVERTER WIRED FOR 26.6 VOLT SYSTEM. IT RUNS MY FULL SIZE REFRIDGERATOR, 40 INCH TV, OVERHEAD LIGHT, INTERNET ROUTER, 2 SECURITY CAMERA'S, COMPUTER, CORDLESS PHONE, LAMP AND ALARM CLOCK IN BEDROOM, AND SEVERAL CORLESS DRILL CHARGERS. HAS BEEN UP AND RUNNING FOR A LITTLE OVER A YEAR NOW AND HAS PERFORMED PERFECTLY SO FAR. AND WILL RUN ALL THAT EVEN AFTER UP TO 5 CLOUDY DAYS. LOVE MY SOLAR SYSTEM.

Im guessing the advantage of powering the fridge is you always have a load to take the power if the batteries get fully charged . is that right

4 years ago I had a solar system put on my house I wanted to add batteries I have 37 panels I was thinking 8 200 amp 48 volt batteries

The inverter is wasting 40% of the electricity. Instead of these small cycles and being always on. Why not turn it and the fridge off overnight on a timer when its typically colder anyway, its not open. Then let it recool in the morning, reducing your idle power consumption a lot. Plus you will have power running the fridge when its sunny, directly. You could just connect it more directly, no? It seems crazy to spend thousands on such a huge system just to power a fridge.

the cost of batteries and panels, assuming that everything will work without failure, is 13 years of using the refrigerator from the network. and I significantly overestimated the consumption and price per 1 kWh. where is the sense, where is the logic.

It’s nothing to do with Solar panels…..it’s all about the storage battery size. Yes you will need solar panels and a decent mppt and a pure sign wave inverter
