Israel defence was a disaster. But I am not blaming their team. Even the best lawyers cannot make the millions and millions people watching what is happening in Palestine with all the content being uploaded online.
Having said that a South Africa case was amazing. They really presented their case by considering not only the judges but also everyone who wanted to watch the trial. They put it in simple words, reasonings and illustrations and arguments to describe the atrocities being committed for everyone to be able to follow and understand. I recommend everyone to watch both teams (the SA and the Israeli one). It is less than 6 hours in total and it is very interesting and historic to learn many things about international law.
German government embarrassed itself on the world stage though. I hope people will only condemn the government and not it’s population. Germans deserve better than what they currently have.

The coverage was mediocre if not vious bias. For example the pro genocide statements made by israek government officials were made by the prime minister, the president, the soldiers that sing that they are there is not non involved innocent civilians, members of the Legislative of Israel and ministers. Also you nearly not talk about the south African accusations only Israel defence. You don't mention that Israel defence not avoided constantly answer the factual cuestion if they make genocidiak actions in gaza ans instead they say that Hamas did which is no relevant because this case is about israel and if they have proves why don't denunce Hamas.

Is there a reason @DW you didn't post a summary of day one of the trial?
Israel's defence:
-"But Hamas!" (South Africa has condemned Hamas since the first minute)
-"We are defending ourselves" (already denied by facts and speeches shown by South Africa)
-"It takes statements out of context!" (hard to take out of context calls to deny a whole people food and water and equating them to a biblical people that was wiped to the very last one woman and child)
Israel is not getting away with this. The fact so many open calls for genocide by Israeli politicians went unanswered, while Arab citizens get arrested for social media likes, speaks volumes of how much the institutions are compromised on this genocidal spree
There are around 24k people killed in gaza. If almost half of them (israeli claim) are Hamas militants, and we know with no doubt that Hamas uses its own people as human shields, than is it a genocide?
