We give our family back home d impression dat it so easy in d western world, depress ourselves to impress them. Some of us completley handicapped our family members by taking over their responsibilities. Why why why!!!. The arrogance from dem after dey hurt u. Listening to this Lady's story, I feel so pained. That family is highly toxic. She should cut herself and her kids off that entire toxic family for good. This one I support her to wreck and destroy that ex husband in the UK. She should get the strength to fight that man and take everything she can from him.
What a wicked family. God will certainly revenge for her. I nearly had the same experience but my parent did not support it and that child died in the process.

Anyway I don’t trust anyone before this happen to me last week I send money to a friend who is a caterer to help me prepare small chops for a brother’s wedding party do you know the guy did not show up for the party. The story was He sent someone else thinking that will cover up for him.

So many things make this story SO SAD.
1)They took the RIGHT away from this woman to make a decision about her own life/marriage. Very painful and very unnecessary.
2) She is a very kind hearted woman. Some of us are like her. We can see someone in need, take them as our own child and decide to work tirelessly for that person. This is a caution to HOLD BACK. Give ONLY AFTER you have invested in oneself. At the end of the day, put yourself first.
3) Parents are greedy and wicked. She was already supporting them and would've continued to do that. All her parents needed to do from the onset of finding out about this situation was tell her, console her and support her whether she stayed with her husband or not.

She should thank her maker that the truth came out when it came out. She needs to get away from these so called family and start afresh. May God help her.

I was practically in tears listening to this story of family betrayal. A part of my life I will never forget; family lies and conspiracy for their selfish. interest.
I was a stubborn child right form a young age who had already known and accepted my parents for who they are.
When I started asking questions about life, my eyes opened to all these things: my uncles, aunties…etc.
Nowadays, I beat every of my parents' moves. I monitor everything happening everywhere in my family whether they know it or not.
Though I love my parents and family and humanity.
Most times, We all have to look for a way to erase the emotions we have for our parents and look at them very carefully without a shred of emotions, then shall all be revealed.
Emotions cloud our judgement and leave is open to manipulation.
For the woman, my advice to her is for her to look to her children and begin to feel the pain that would go through if she allows herself to die in this. Let her pick up herself and move on.

Hmmmm, I have distanced myself from a lot of family members in Ghana, i only care for my mum and that's it. I come first, i no go kill myself for nobody.
when I think I have heard the worst of interfamily betrayals, then you come along and share that it can get even worse. that her sister is the devil and her parents, words fail me. especially knowing that getting money bought their silence. no morals, empathy, compassion, integrity. nothing!!!

I believed the parents love their children unconditionally but this particular issues is a very difficult one that can test anyone sanity as to how to handle both sisters. African parents always believed in using force to make children succumb to anything. It’s just a shame

Money rituals are common in my country, Uganda. Parents especially fathers sacrifice their parents for money. So what these parents did isn't a surprise to me.
But somr African parents can easily do this to their daughters as long as they get money. Yes , this behaviour isn't unique from especially the father's side.

I have some uncles in the US before I moved here who worked and made good money but only invested in party and prostitutes. Now in their late 50's they have nothing to show for their hard work.
