  1. So I experience the exact same thing Peyton is talking about with feeling nauseous but knowing you need to eat. For me, it’s related to my autism. It happens exactly how he described it, I’ll remember “damn I need to eat” and then when I go through my usual foods I feel sick to my stomach and the thought of eating any of them makes me want to hurl. I have had to get protein shakes for these moments so that I can get SOME nutrients in me when this happens. But what I will say is that the reason for this (for me!) is bc often autistic people struggle to recognise hunger, and so when we DO typically recognise it (through other bodily reactions like headaches, irritability, hand tremors, lightheadedness, etc) it’s WAYYY past the point that people usually eat. The nauseous feeling is literally my body/brain saying “I feel so incredibly sick BC we are so past the point of needing to eat that I can’t think of anything beyond needing to eat”. Also can absolutely be dehydration on top of all of that!
That’s what it is for me, obviously not saying Peyton is autistic but just relating to the experience! You’re not alone💗 I highly recommend protein shakes and daily fruit/veggie vitamins to sort of take the edge off of that feeling when it does happen. I also make sure to chug a bottle of liquid IV at least twice a day (morning/night) so I know for sure I’m getting SOME hydration.

  2. When I was a kid I lived in Colombia. The lion at the zoo I'd go to would run with me back and forth and would put his nose against the fence and his paw as well. He'd let me pet him.

  3. It happens to me all the time! Where I’m hungry but I don’t have an appetite for anything. Or if I smell certain food, I can get nauseous. you could just be eating too much fast food or you’re eating too much of the same thing. You could also just be bored of going to the same place so try mixing it up if you can?

  4. I agree with Peyton on the warm flat soda. If I start drinking fully carbonated soda I’ll close the bottle and shake it so it flattens quickly. And 99/100 times my soda is room temperature. I have a designated spot in my pantry where my open bottles go so my counter isn’t cluttered. Btw I always have cold/fresh bottles for my friends.

  5. I feel the same with not being able to finish my food. I won’t drink cokes unless I leave it out and open for a while and it’s a little warm and flat. Glad I’m not alone 😭 the stale chips is wild tho 😂
