Cost of living in Nigeria is spiraling out of control. Prices of food and other consumables have soared more than 100% and have become out of reach for the average Nigerian, resulting in a wave of protests across the country in recent times.

Lip service all the time people wor moving goods from point a to point b was no wahalla you big wigs sit back and let that happen because you guy's are irresponsible you didn't put more farming structure in place now you blaming movement of its you guys fault can't fix your country for decades shamefull Nigeria should have never to be in this state you guys don't know what you doing for decades you pumping oil what????
i am sorry this is happening in nigeria,i am zimbabwean and we went through the worst inflation ever .but we are an agricultural country so food is not a problem as everyone has a garden or field. thank God zim is on a rise and slowly recoving now as we have adopted the USD as our main currency but we are not strong just yet. God bless Nigeria.
People are not connecting the price of petrol to transportation cost, that’s the root of the problem income should rise in relation to transportation costs it doesn’t matter how much food is there once you have to transport it , it adds to the cost of what ever it is that you transport, even a shirt .
When the average income of 30,000 Naira, what time frame is that earnings meant for?
So where is ECOWAS and its puppet leaders now! It is obvious to the world that the west has impoverished Africa by manipulating their governments. This manipulation must stop now. Africa must dispense with western manipulation once and for all, equallly all politicians who are corrupted must leave Africa and go to the countries that pay them to betray their own people.
Oh Nigeria, very sad, hmmmmmm
Tell france to leave nigeria and everything will be good. Not every time you have puppets leaders
The BIGGEST problem in Guinea and elsewhere on the continent is a problem of the MIND & until that is fixed nothing will change. Many continental Afrikans have been misled to think that VOTING in and of itself would have reverse the negative IMPACT of centuries of white Arabs & European exploitation of Afrika.
Balabluuuu.
Egypt has similar inflation numbers. They tell us its because of us dollar interest rate, russia/ukraine war, and covid. We think corruption plays a role.
But nigeria has much more fertile land and water and oil than egypt. You guys should farm all your food and all the food needed in the countries around you. If egypt had that much fertile land and water resources we would produce enough food for a billion people. Dont waste a drop of water guys.. water is money 😅
Sending love and best wishes to all nigerians in this difficult time 🇳🇬
What are the economic advisers do Tinubu. Sack them. Appoint Prof Mahmoud as Special Economic adviser to the President of Nigeria incharge of collecting gifts
Too much talk all we need is food food food let pump price come down, open boarders for food and other essentials without import duties😢 Una talk too much ,people are hungry
Do we elected Tinubu to pay us with hardship?
The lessening profit from Oil export by the government of Nigeria is just one of the reason of this inflation.
No disrespect but why is it old people only running the country, You guys dont believe in the younger generation?
God is our strength 🙏

Like Ukraine, Nigeria is also run by a some kind of "comedian". ThT is the cost of electing hopless politicians.
The most poorly run country in Africa. There's scarcity of everything. Quality essential commodities, gasoline, fresh fruits and vegetables, used and new cars, and to crown it all, there's scarcity of cash in circulation. You go to the bank and they only give you an equivalent of 15 dollars no matter how much you have in the bank.
In addition to the above, there's scarcity of qualified and competent professionals, including competent leaders. They've allowed curruption to get the better of them, to the extent that every problem the country faces are artificially engineered to suit the few politically powerful. Suffice to say that Nigeria is such a FAILED STATE that it's not worthy of being incorporated as a nation.
This government doesn't care, if they care, they knew what to do. The price of petrol is no, high cost living amongst our politicians no2, security challenges amongst farmers no3, steady light problem no4, this will give way for production, export, and so naira will appreciate.
Fulani people are destroying crops, rendering farmers homeless so what do you expect apart from hunger.
May God help us
The federal government should reduce importation duties the government has been increasing duties severally during the past regime till date
The only quick way out of this is for government to quickly promote animal husbandry by citizens in cities .. grow your own food and meat
Hello🦓🐥🐦🐦🐧🐧🐧🐕🐶, 🐦
God the Father loves you so much that He sent Holy and Sinless Jesus (His Holy Son) to earth to be born of a virgin. He grew up and died on a cross for our sins. He was in the tomb for 3 days, then Father God raised Jesus Christ (Y'shua) to Life! He appeared to people and went back to Heaven. We must receive Jesus sincerely to be God's childJohn 1:12. "But as many as received Him, to them He gave power to become the sons of God, even to them that BELIEVE on HIS name." That is great news! Will you sincerely receive Holy, Lord Jesus into your life today?
AFTER 64 YEARS …NIGERIA IS STILL TRYING TO FIND SOLUTIONS TO THE SAME PROBLEMS… A COUNTRY OF 220 + MILLION PEOPLE… WE MUST FEED OUR CHILDREN…. MECHANIZE FARMING ALL OVER THE COUNTRY…
This is everywhere win the world. But those markers look so unsanitary.
I am a Nigerian abroad for a long time now…..and atimes our mind plays tricks on us…telling us to go back to our motherland. But Nigeria is a lost cause….why will somebody want to go back to all this hardship??
